GolfBuddy Voice GPS

I have been looking into a golf GPS or rangefinder for some time, but I wasn't sure which was more appealing until recently. Laser rangefinders are appealing, but digging out a large item from your bag to find out how far you are from the pin is a There were some GPS systems I looked at, but they had a lot of features and functions - many of them seemed too complicated, but nonetheless good, I knew I would be distracted during my round of golf because I knew I would be distracted. What I really want is an accurate distance to the pin that is good, reliable, and easy to calculate. There's no better product than this one. My wife and I bought this a week ago from Amazon and have tested it on several golf courses - it has been awesome. Many of the golf courses I have not played before, some I haven't and my home course where I have already become accustomed to the distances from the greens. There is a lot of accuracy in this item. My first obsession was to check the distance from the course to the marker and check them against the distance on the distance table. Each of the three courses I successfully ran this on had plaques or sprinkler head covers that matched it. I was paired with a laser player on one round, and I was paired with a SkyCaddie player on another round. Both items matched this item every time. However, the form factor is what makes this product stand out. Under warranty, I returned it since it did not hold a charge very well from the day I bought It was returned to the company for repair because there was moisture on it. My friends told me that I must have dropped it in a puddle. As far as I know, I haven't. After receiving a reply email, they informed me that they can not replace it for free but could provide me with a different version for a reduced price of $50. In the last few months, I have tried to contact Golf Buddy by phone and by email to inform them that I wish to purchase a My emails to them will not be returned and the phone number they gave me in their correspondence will only be answered.

I was really impressed with this product until it stopped working three weeks after I bought You will no longer be charged for it. It is very difficult to get a defective item replaced with this company. I spent about 15 minutes on the phone with them, answering all kinds of stupid questions about my problem, when they sent me an e-mail I thought would contain an RA number and address for me to send it back. I tried to correct myself, but Then there will probably be a return form for me to fill out I will have to answer all kinds of questions, send an original invoice (hard since I purchased it from Amazon), and they may send it to me then. It wasn't mentioned that a replacement would be made. The item has been sent and they will inform me when it has been received! When an item is defective after only 3 weeks, and has only been used a few times, they should just provide a new one, rather than repairing it. The same problem happened to another customer who bought the item anyway, but wasn't able to resolve it. Considering how Amazon makes money from them, they should stop dealing with them. It has a 90 day warranty, which they do not honor. Therefore, they do not want to replace the defective item after only a short period of time. I find Amazon to be a bad representative of the company.

I may be partially to blame for some situations Type instructions) in a In spite of that, in the last round, on a bright, sunny, and cool day, the device did not automatically jump to the next hole as it did the first few times. My system worked after I read the instructions to choose the hole and when I selected the hole, it worked and I transitioned to my current hole. In some cases it just seemed to freeze, and I was forced to go old school on distances, otherwise I would hold the whole group up. Surely this was one of those one-offs It can be a time thing, once in awhile, it may think that the button is in another hole, but once you memorize the button patterns it is simple. In some cases, I set it to measure distance just for fun, curiosity, or to gauge the distance of my new clubs. The new feature is that when it is in measure mode, it stays in measure mode. Thus, if you want to start measuring, you only have to hold down the main button. I would suggest that if you want the next shot, you might want to reconsider. My computer continues to measure from the beginning. I have yet to figure out how to reset it to measure from the new location. I think it gives up eventually when it realizes I didn't make much of a shot at 675 yards, since at some point it will allow me to confirm the distance. My head is spinning trying to figure out what the green L or green R information means. I've now gone through 100 cycles and still don't understand what this is for or how it works. The GPS is an excellent unit all in all. Yardage is visible and audible to a mile from center. A con is There is a lock-up in the middle of the process, it's not as intuitive as one would expect.
