If you want to pair it with a watch, you must use a compatible one. In my experience, I didn't find a way to do it with the app on the phone. I used to have an Accros and it was a bit of a pain to pair the sensors with the app. When you listen to your shot, you have to keep the device in your forward pocket, which drains your battery and makes it difficult for you to make a call (not that you would want to). I think switching to the Garmin watch with the CT10 sensors was a huge improvement.

Honestly, I don't like the thought of it. This was not the product I expected, but my expectations were very high. Having used these sensors for the first time today, there's basically no difference in the info they provide compared to what garmin already gives you on the app and watch.
