Having chronic shin splints (flairs up within 5 minutes of walking, not even running) has been annoying me for years. The following four are the only ones I've used They work! I have done it 5 times now! It didn't occur to me to expect that, but wow. These little bands are always faithful to what they say they will do. The bottom line is that as long as they are working, I will wear them. The following note pertains to the size Because my shins are big (19 inches wide at their widest point), I ordered a large. The band in these will stretch enough to fit a lot of shins, just give it a good tug when you first put them on if you have big shins. You'll have to make it work but that's what you need to do! Every time I put it on it becomes easier and easier to do. As there is only one per box, you need to buy two, as there is only one per leg. (luckily, I read other reviews before ordering so I knew, so I just wanted to pass that along).

My experience with this product was nothing short of horrific it made everything 10 times worse than it had been. You should not run if you have shin splints, I repeat DO NOT run! My experience with this product is upset and disappointed. I would not recommend this product. It is the worst investment I've ever made.

According to my measurements, I am at the top of the small strap size and at the bottom of the large strap size. Since my husband's measurements matched that of the smaller one, I purchased the smaller one so we could both benefit from it if he needed it in the future. Since I got it it has stretched out a little bit so I can wear it comfortably now. When I first got it, it was a little small on my leg, but now that it has stretched out a little bit it fits me fine. I purchased one for my husband after I bought one for myself. He then got shin splints and claimed the one I purchased for him. My set was broken, so I had to buy another one. It has been a pleasure working with them both!.

A physician and a coach were unable to give me a definitive answer about my leg pain, though I suspect it's a Tibialis anterior problem. It was suggested to me by Coach to roll a heavy weight on it however, I do not own one. With this little gadget, I'm more comfortable since specific pressure is applied right to the area where the pain is, thus I don't wake up when I'm sleeping, as the headline says.

As a result of shin splints, I have difficulty walking. As soon as you put the strap on right where you feel the pain, you can run comfortably without further injury. It supports your leg so well that you can run with little to no pain. The moment you put it in, the pain begins to subside. It was the best run I have ever had. I am ordering another one.

It was supposed to come with two straps for both legs, but it ended up being enough for just one. I find them helpful during my workout to reduce the pain from arthritis in my knees. They appeared to help with my shin splint problem initially, but now they appear to help with my arthritis problem. They are helpful for pain, but I cannot give them a 5-star rating because they are not 100% effective. After all, I found them suitable for my needs, and would not hesitate to purchase them in the future.

Shin splints did not get better with this product. It actually made things worse. A message was sent to Seller, but I did not receive a I am very dissatisfied with this purchase.
