Stability and impact protection are the main points of this piece. Protecting against blisters is not one of them. Although it may help to prevent them, that is not what it is designed to do.

My favorite way to wear them is while riding in a bike park and during riding enduro. This pair of ankle boots is very light weight and well padded. I've saved my ankles numerous

The purpose of these, which I bought while mountain biking, is to protect a fused ankle on my left. This has made my day. I cannot express how happy I am about finding On each side of the 'ankle ball joints' there is just the right amount of padding. Because I need padding protection on the front of my ankle I wear these in reverse, so the area meant to protect your Achilles behind your ankle now provides protection along the area where I have a metal plate and scar going up the front of my ankle and lower shin area. This is the Large/X-Size My ankles are too hard to bend, so I bought the Large size because I wouldn't be able to fit the Small/Medium at all. My Large/XL fit very well and I didn't even notice I was wearing it. I was completely comfortable in it. In addition to being breathable, the material is strong and durable. This is a great accessory for mountain biking as you can get bangs and slams through these. Being on them makes me feel so much safer, especially since I banged my ankle a month ago while riding and a month later, it still hurts from the accident. I find that these pads provide just the right amount of protection. Neither of these garments are bulky or intrusive, and I wear my low cycling socks over them so they do not leave any marks. This is a highly recommended product.
When I mountain bike, these will protect my ankle bones from pedal impacts and random branches and rocks on the trail. I like how they work. Despite the fact that they protect exactly what I bought them for, I wish the ankle bone padding was a bit The fact that they don't seem to be able to get on and off easily is another reason why I don't see them lasting very long. The elastic on those stretches poorly and the stitching is not that good. There was a difference between 3/4 and 4 stars for me. The four stars I gave them were based on the fact that they do what they are supposed to do and they fit well under my mountain bike If the padding and elastic were a bit thicker and if the elastic carried up longer, it would have been a 5. In spite of the negatives, I would/will probably buy them again due to the lack of other options as well as the fact that they do what I need.
A pair of ankle guards will provide excellent protection around your ankle and Achilles bone. Prior to buying them, I had pedal strike wounds that now have healed since wearing them. Eventually, I would be willing to pay less for these if I can use them for a year. While they appear to be stitched fairly well, some of the stitches have come The even-numbered system Although they feel snug against my ankle, they still fit nicely. Protective pads are all made of foam material that is stitched to protect the leg. It has been a few weeks since I have been riding in them without any loosening or movement. These are the kind of pedal I would buy if your flat pedals are sharp and you ride trails.
In the past year, I had ordered a pair of ankle socks but gave each one to friends when they suffered from various medical problems. She sprained her ankle. Guess who it was? This is me. Keeping at least one of these lovelies was a great lesson! There is a pair of these.
The fact that this product came with TWO guards is a surprise to me. You've got it! The splint was on my recently sprained ankle while riding enduro / mountain bikes. Even though it is not one of the strongest pads (because it is soft, not hard or plastic), it adds much needed padding around the ball of your foot. It offers me peace of mind as well as moderate compression support while I'm on the mountain. I have not experienced any impacts while wearing it the past 6 months.
I had great protection from rocks and cranks with this boot. I have two more pairs of this type of sandals. The padding is backed up by a firmer material. In addition to improving the stitching, they also improved the quality.
While they are not as thick as others available, they are of sufficient thickness and are not bulky.
My initial impression was that they would work okay, but the amount of protection seems to be less than I had expected. One of the biggest annoyances is the color of the logos. They should be white as shown in the products While I don't like the color scheme, my gear is black and white.
With that said, they will work just fine. I would like to see a picture of the product. Thanks a lot.
