No, they are a regular softball team. For my daughter, I use these when she is pitching. Smush balls are what I use to hit indoors.

I like it, though! My mistake, I didn't realize they were synthetic leather, but they are really nice and seem to be tough so far. we have used them for 10u pitching practice, they take some getting used to at first. Just a little dirt on them and they will feel like they are brand new.
