"Hard foam" is a term I don't understand. These appear to be foam-based. The size and weight of a softball, but made out of plastic.
I use these in a Juggs lite machine and they're fantastic!
I believe the jugs sting-free balls will work in the PS50 machine; I have not tested this, but it would make no sense for them to make a ball that does not.
They're a bright yellow color, in my opinion.

After two months of use, "EXCLUSIONS" is shown. BUSTED BALLS are a term used to describe a set of balls that have been Jugs products are usually excellent, but I use this product in a NON PROFIT youth training facility, and Jugs refuses to honor their warranty. "If they are used in a batting cage or training facility, they will not be honored. " A one-year commitment to their products is advertised from the factory. Only two months had passed since the balls were used. I even reached out to JUGS Sports Customer Service a few weeks ago, but have yet to hear back. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, TO SAY THE LEAST.
My initial concerns were that I had ordered the incorrect product and that I wouldn't be able to use a dozen of them. br>They're the same muscle-rolling balls that can be found at my local fitness center. (Perhaps purchased through Rogue at a much higher per-piece cost. ) A little bigger and firmer than a lacrosse ball, and great for getting into larger body areas - Thigh and buttocks have more muscle/fat, while the front groin to hip area has a larger hollow. br>Once I checked them out, I received a lot of interest from friends who were also looking for something similar. I was able to pass on the cost savings to them, resulting in a fantastic deal for all of us. As a result, I've had a happy ending.
My fiance and I run a small baseball academy in the Dominican Republic, and I bought four dozen to bring there, and they are fantastic; we use them every day for practice. They are a little on the pricey side, but they are well worth the money.
Not for softball, but for my dogs. They don't hold up as well as baseballs in my Chesapeake Bay. Get the yellow 9-inch baseballs if you want an indestructible dog ball.
These pitching machine balls work well in my jugs pitting machine, pitching consistently and causing no discomfort to my daughter's hands when she hits the ball. They're still going strong after a lot of use.
The balls appear to be well-built. I'm hoping they last, because I can get an arc with this ball that I can't get with leather softball if I put the toss machine on a bucket.
I will not recommend purchasing these balls at this time; I have purchased these dimple balls in the past and something has changed with their manufacturing of these balls; they are now softer than the balls in the past and do not work properly in the machine; I would not recommend purchasing these balls until they resolve the issue; I have purchased these dimple balls in the past and something has changed with their manufacturing practices; the balls are now made in China, which I am not familiar with; I would not recommend purchasing these balls until they resolve the issue; I.
For my daughter, it's perfect. They're also easy to spot because of their bright color.
