I bought these for my kids to learn how to throw and catch. It would be too heavy for a wiffle ball bat to use for hitting. It would be necessary to use at least a foam bat or a t-shirt It would be better if you used a ball bat.
Clearly there is a cover over the electronics and yes, after a short period of time or so, they do start peeling off.
A hard enough blow can cause it to happen.

The price is a little higher There are only 50 there), but Walmart doesn't carry them in the winter, and these balls are an absolute must for getting your dog into the park. We use these to play with our dog, and they are so much better than tennis balls that I could barely describe them. When they are thrown easily, they cut through the air and bounce for a long time. In addition, the night time colors give them an easy to spot appearance. Although I understand that some people use them in sports, if you are thinking of playing ball with your dog, I can assure you that these are better and longer lasting than tennis balls, as well as easier on your arm than regular baseballs (which I have also used).
My only wish would be to replace the green color with another neon color since they are a great practice ball. They are a bit soft, but for children four and under who are practicing catching and throwing these are great. It's still hard to find the grassy green when playing catch in the grass, but that's the only complaint I have.
There was a Walmart nearby offering the same product for a fraction of the price, but they sold out everywhere the country and started our little boy in T ball, so it was important to get a bright ball that could be easily seen in a wooded area if it were hit by a ball. The product works very well. I wish it was cheaper and I could have bought it earlier in the season because it would have been half way through T. Ball season even with Prime.
You definitely get what you pay for. The colors are bright and easy to spot. There is a sense that they have begun We have used them a lot as well as left them outdoors but would recommend not leaving them outside for long periods of time because weather can damage This is a great practice tool.
Most of these things can be found at Walmart or Dick's for a much cheaper price. There's nothing we love more than This gives kids a weight that resembles a baseball without shooting them in the face or breaking their You have to pay to go through them if your kid regularly hits them from the backyard diamond.
This product feels good to the touch and weighs well. Learn to catch and throw using this to get a beginner started. This is a great tool to teach children.
Baseballs that are great for beginners. The balls have about the same weight as hard balls, but are soft enough that when one bounced off her glove and hit her head (no marks were left on her head), my daughter was able to talk it off. Even so, it doesn't feel good to get hit with it, but compared to straight into the hard ones, it's an improvement.
We were able to assemble them with no problems at all, and they are great quality. It is possible to practice at home.
