Adult Small is something I'd be interested in doing. My 12-year-old finds the Kids XL too small. She stands 5'1" tall. I'm a 100-pound man with a slim physique.
Girls are, indeed, the youth. My daughter received a youth XL and I have no experience with the smallest size. I can tell you that these appear to be slim fitting to me. They have skinny legs, so I believe the smallest size would be appropriate for your daughter.
Women's XS will most likely be your best bet. My daughter is 12 years old and has a slim athletic build. In Nike shorts, she is a women's XS, but in kids jeans, she is a 12/14. She's had them in children's sizes XL and XXL. XS is a size for women. A year ago, the kids would have fit her, but now they won't. I hope this isn't too perplexing for you. helps.

Kid who is tall and lean. These have a lot going for them; for one thing, they appear to be thick and durable. They also fit my long and lean daughter, which is difficult to do. She's almost nine years old and learning to slide, so the extra padding in the seat and knees came as a welcome surprise. I was so sick of finding pants that fit her waist but then fell short at the knees and pulled up above her socks because they were way too short; this pair fit exactly as the size chart indicated. My daughter's waist is 22" (on a good day, lol), and the small says 22-23. It's still a little big at 24", but not to the point where her stretchy belt can't cinch them in. They also extend a few inches beyond her knees, ensuring that the elastic bunching behind her knees does not cause them to hit in an awkward spot. We're ecstatic to have discovered these!.
These softball pants are of good quality. Please note that the legs are VERY small and should be washed well. Despite the fact that my daughter is petite, these pants were too tight in the legs for her. Surprisingly, there is plenty of room in the waist. They're a good pair of softball pants. I'd be cautious if your daughter has larger legs or thighs because they've held up well. My eldest son does. She'd never be able to pull these off. I continue to recommend them because they are of excellent quality. Despite the fact that my daughter wore them a lot this summer, they still look like new.
They are very comfortable, according to her, and have a cushion on the back to aid in sliding. We bought two because of how good they are. br>She plays travel ball (many games over the weekend)br>We bought two because of how good they are.
These were ordered for my daughter's softball game the following weekend. They picked her up the day before her game, and she was a women's Medium. "Girls," according to the description, and "youth girls medium," according to the order receipt description.
They're of excellent quality, but they're quite small. My daughter usually wears a size 8 to a size 12 in her clothes. In youth pants, a ten is too small, and even a large is too small.
Softball pants for girls that fit perfectly and are a great brand! It's thick enough not to show through underneath and it's not itchy.
Her legs are slim, just how she likes them.
