Selected User Reviews For STX Lacrosse Stallion 75 Shoulder Pad
My son needed new lacrosse pads, and the requirements for shoulder and chest pads in 2022 are currently being revised. To be legal for next year's games, shoulder pads must have the NOCSAE logo and the SEI certification mark. The STX Stallion 75 pads are approved by USALacrosse, but purchasing them online is always a challenge. The listing shows two sets of photos, one with the logo and the other without. I was unsure what I'd get after reading another review that said they got pads that would be illegal in 2022. I'm pleased to report that the pads we received include the logo as well as the solid piece over the sternum that will be required in the near future.
These shoulder pads are approved for use beginning in January 2022. The Large pads should fit a high schooler according to the STX sizing chart. These have worked well for our high school club team because high schoolers do not seem to like big bulky pads. One player is 5'9 and 185 pounds, and he reports that the Large fits him perfectly at practice. br>The pads are well made for the price, and they meet the season's requirements. br>While many of our players dislike the added bulk in the front of the pads, they recognize the need for the new design.
My 12-year-old loves them, and I bought them because STX is a brand you should look for if you want a quality product that won't let you down and that you won't have to return, which is a pain.
It's perfect for the twenty-first century. stating that by 2022, the does not meet the requirements.
This was purchased for my 7-year-old son's hockey needs. I like how it fits and adjusts to his size, and the padding is thick. However, it significantly reduces the severity of chest and shoulder blows.
