The shoulder pad in this picture is a small size. This shoulder pad is designed for beginners and intermediate players. Under the age of 14 It's possible that manufacturers don't have precise sizing information for all of their products. A player weighing 100 pounds or less and standing no taller than 5'5" would most likely fit into this.

Is this in line with the new US Lacrosse rules that go into effect in January 2022?

Purchase was a huge letdown

The quality is terrible. In just two months, it had disintegrated. The return period ended on the 15th of May, of course! This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me! I've bought a lot of shoulder pads over the years, and they've all lasted at least four years. The stitching has come undone and there is no way to repair it. The biggest squander of funds!.
