On February 20th, I received this protection for my 15-year-old son, who is just getting started in lacrosse. To put it another way, he's not a hardcore heavy-metal aficionado. He's still figuring things out as a contact player. One of the shoulder protectors ripped from the chest pad after only one week of practice and one game. This product only lasted 7 days before it fell apart, so avoid this brand and model.

The pads were good, but one of the straps ripped very easily

Although the product is lightweight and protective, one of the straps ripped the first time we used it. Wife was able to sow it, but other than that minor flaw, these are fantastic!.
