This was a small item. My 10-year-old, who weighs 70 pounds, struggled to lift it above his head. He described it as "uncomfortable" after putting it on. We got back together again.
No, it's for kids, and it's a little tight.

My son's helmet is extremely difficult to get on and off, and there is no way to loosen the neck opening. Also, the sides are prone to coming loose.
I used this as part of a Dodgeball (Purple Cobras) Halloween costume, and it turned out great. They require a small frame to fit into, but they are well-padded and simple to put on and remove.
They correspond to the specifications. The materials are nice, the stitching is tight, and it holds up well. These are of average quality; they are not cheap, but there are better ones available for a much higher price.
My 9-year-old is wearing a large, and it fits perfectly.
To small.
Excellent item.
Colors and design are fantastic. I'm having a hard time getting my 7-year-old to understand- It does not have any openings around the neck.
Although the pads are excellent, the neck hole is extremely small. I bought this for my 6-year-old son, so you might want to go with the larger size.
