I have no problems with these shoulder pads fitting my son. In the week following my purchase, a teammate of mine got hit in the back (without a backplate) and it caused him to break a blood vessel. It was his senior year that he did not make it to the state playoff game. I wish all of the kids on the team could have I was able to protect my running back son multiple times and felt comfortable wearing the product.

The backplate is excellent and arrived quickly. Be aware if you have a skinny waist or body it might be a little wide on you, but you should be able to get it to fit anyway.

You can secure this more easily and quickly with zip ties than with screws, and it will be well protected.
