According to the manufacturer, this product should be used for breaking in gloves, but I find it more useful in maintaining a glove's In the end of a game or practice, I always put the ball in the best part of the pocket and wrap the glove to keep it there for the next game. Having them deform much less is one of the advantages of this practice as it greatly extends the usefulness of my gloves. This is a 4 star product because, in my opinion, the elastic band is just a little too narrow. About 3 inches wide and sewn into a circle, it acts like a giant rubber band that stretches over your glove. It goes on easily with just a little stretching. its job of keeping the glove closed, but I would prefer a wider band that could apply pressure all around the pocket, allowing the glove to help constrict the ball while it's resting. In its place, I recommend the Internet based service.
I find these to be extremely useful. Put a softball or couple of baseballs in the pocket of your glove, wrap around the fingers and thumb, and this elastic band will hold everything Keep this in your bag, and you won't have to worry about it flattening or becoming misshapen the next time you Normally, I hand wash and dry it if it starts smelling funny, but I don't think a few trips through the washing machine would ever cause it to lose its luster. There are several I have bought and I'll most likely buy more. Not because they wear out, but because my kid loses them a lot.
Despite only using this band a few times, there are already obvious signs that the threading is already coming loose. I didn't do anything other than wrap it around my son's new glove and let it sit overnight to see if that would fix it. It will have to be sewed first if I use it again.
Easily made at a reasonable price. Finished with a sewn-up elastic band. As far as I can tell, you get what you pay for. If there were other types with Velcro, I would pay a little more. There are no set fees, but it's up to you how much you'd like Definitely would get another one, but I think it isn't going to last that long how long does it last? Update to come at a later time. Attached are pictures to illustrate this.
It will prevent your gloves from flattening out when you wash them.
The Rawlings name is well-known in the sports world. The catchers mitt my son uses with this product works perfectly. This is the epitome of perfection.
The situation is not convenient at all. In the end, I bought 1 yard of fabric at a fabric store. Wrap the 5" Velcro around your wrist. It was cheaper and worked much.
A couple of the shirts we bought did not stretch, and the stitching was coming loose.
