There is good and bad in this

The pros are The top is built from one piece, so there's no worry about the top coming off or anything like that. The cons are There is a little shortness to the handle and I tend to hit my knuckles on the glove when using it. -(Not a huge deal)--My biggest concern is the size of the ball end of the mallet. It's about 1/4 inch smaller than a baseball. In other words, it is not a very big pocket. As it turned out, I used the mallet of a friend with a baseball-sized.

This mallet is great for putting leather gloves on or breaking them in. Designs that are all one piece. There is no worry about the ball end popping off like some have done to me in the past. The price was well worth it.

I like how well this glove mallet was made! A broken mallet won't happen any time soon, according to me. Extensive use of the product will have no effect on it.
