Purchasing these for our two young children ages 1 and 2 was a wise decision. Their purpose was to be better than a life jacket at first glance, There was just one issue the strap was too long and there was no way to make it smaller, so we had to buy a safety pin to make it work. In case you have a bigger kid, this would be a great choice.
