It is extremely durable and lasts for a long time. My son uses these boards on his swim team and they have endured daily use, abuse, sunlight, etc. The gym has a stack of them for all the kids to use, so his brand new board is hard to distinguish from the rest. If you want your name to prevent it from getting mixed up with someone else's, you should write it on the envelope.
The ones we purchased were the same ones my son (3 years old) used in swim class the previous year. As a result of the kickboard remaining above water, I managed to swim. By the time the water reaches them, they will be under water. The boys like to use it in the pool, so we kept it. Yet, it is not as buoyant as I had.
Neither it is small enough nor it is light enough. There isn't enough strength in it for the kid to float above the water.
The pool served as a training ground In addition to using it to float on, they also hug it to help them If I'm sitting next to the pool and the ground is hot, I also sit on it. You can use them for so many different things!.

This is the perfect size for younger I bought this for my five year old, who is learning to swim, and it's the perfect size for him to practice in and become more comfortable in the water. You can place your fingers in the grooves on the side and grip the device easily. It is exactly as described and is a great product.
