Sizing up is a must. I just received my eleventh. They're *agonizingly* tight after 5W.
If you prefer a looser fit, size up one half size. The fit of these shoes is similar to that of a sock - They are extremely comfortable to wear and are easy to put on.
That is an excellent query. The shoes, in my opinion, are slip-ons. lace-up and on What I can assure you is that you will not find a more comfortable pair of shoes.
No, I don't require any additional lace replacements.

UPDATE 1/30/20; I'm on my third pair and haven't given another daily shoe a second thought. I've run up to 20 miles a day in them, deadlifted 735 pounds in them, and now I'm here to get a fourth pair. br>br>For any large-sized buyers, here's the combination I use after a lot of trial and error to find the best fit and feel:
- Heavy-duty insoles by Dr. Schollbr>- br>- Round elastic laces (I use locklace without the locks and wear it tight)br>- ORIGINAL REVIEW; Saucony athletic socks (in my opinion, they fit, last, and support better than Reebok)br>br> The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price; for $80, I'd like to see a foam sole shoe with a nonslip outsole. At $65, this shoe is a 5 star. br>br>Introduction; br>br>Analysis; br>br I've had quite a few pairs of shoes over the years. I'm a big dude who's very active and works harder on them than most. These shoes have the potential to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn that isn't a pair of house slippers. I put in 25-35 hours per week between work and cardio. I've been running 30 miles per week for the past week and have had no issues. If a problem arises, I'll let you know. br>br>PROs; br>Surprisingly relaxing. This shoe's design is fantastic, hugging your foot evenly with minimal effortbr>Springy step without being bouncy, walking requires minimal effortbr>Maneuverable and lightbr>Looks greatbr>The heel cup does its job as intendedbr>br>CONs; I'm not sure if it's just me, but the laces that come with New Balance shoes are always WAY too long. I don't have small feet by any means, and I'm always left with at least a full ten inches of space between my toes and the ground. 12" of lace on each side before tying, so they arrive untied 2- When I'm doing something on my knees at work, I do it three times a day. Plan to replace or shorten the laces. br>(BTW NB, if you really want to stand out, use elastic laces instead of traditional laces. )br>br>The factory insert is, as usual, completely useless. After the first day, mine was completely flat. Dr Scholls Heavy Duty insoles are what I use in my shoes, and they're a great match for this pair.
I'm a woman who has very wide feet. I decided to get men's shoes because they are more comfortable after having three children. These shoes are perfect for me. They have an excellent toe box and are extremely light. They're ideal for the gym as well as everyday use. Since I don't run anymore, I'm not sure how they are with running. br>br>I bought the gray and black ones at the same time. br> My only issue is that the gray ones are larger than the black ones OR the black ones are smaller than the gray? Each of them is seven years old. As a result, there is a sizing discrepancy. Despite their larger size, the gray ones are still very comfortable.
Finding a good-looking shoe for people with foot problems is extremely difficult. Plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, and extremely flat feet plague my husband. He limps out of bed in the morning, and his day as a personal trainer is a living hell on his feet. These shoes literally changed his life; he has a bunion on each big toe that causes him pain, so the extra width is extremely beneficial. His arches are supported by orthotics, which he wears in his shoes. This is the first shoe that he has been able to wear all day while working out and being on his feet and that does not hurt him after the first hour. We bought three pairs of shoes in different colors so he could switch them out. It's the only shoe he can put on right now. He is harmed by everything else. Then there's our 18-year-old son. year- My 12-year-old son thought they were really cool and wanted a pair for himself. Every other shoe for people with foot issues resembles a pair of large square grandpa shoes. He also wears a 14 wide shoe size, which makes finding shoes extremely difficult. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable pair of shoes! Also, if you're having problems with your feet. Take a look!.
I usually wear Nike shoes, but I decided to try these out. I ended up returning them due to a combination of factors, some of which are specific to my foot and others that are more general and may apply to others. 1) Size. br>br> I've been wearing Nike size 10 for years, in a variety of models. I received a ten and a nine for these. 5 and a half-size smaller (9). 5) is a lot more appropriate. br>br>2) These have a noticeable large toe box. These will be ideal if you have a foot that widens significantly in the front. If they aren't, they will almost certainly be too loose, causing you to slide around. br>br>3) I'm not a fan of tongues that are attached to the shoe. br>br>4) There is a balance between the uppers of this type of shoe being flexible so that they conform to the foot and stiff so that the lacing can hug the foot and the overall upper can hold the foot and provide stability. My impression is that New Balance went too far in terms of flexibility, resulting in a shoe that is comfortable at rest but moves around excessively when subjected to lateral stress. br>br>In the end, I think I'll stick with Nikes because they seem to fit my foot better.
Before they were discontinued, I owned at least a dozen pairs of Fresh Foam Cruz Sport. It was a perfect fit for my foot and the solid rubber outsole lasted forever. A great all-around shoe. around. New Balance has improved the design of the Roav, which appears to be a direct successor to that shoe. br>br>A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. This is a massive undertaking. My wife and I are both a 9 and a 12 respectively. For a half-hour, we exchanged both pairs. At 11, the size is smaller. 5 and 9 are the corresponding numbers. They're now a lot more comfortable.
2. The heel area is extremely wide, so if you have wide ankles or a wide heel, these will be ideal. They are still wide for me, but not excessively so.
3. There's no way these shoes could ever be used for running. They're the ideal walking shoe for me because I walk a lot. They provide a great deal of support and are also very breathable. I'm certain these would fly off my feet if I tried running in them.
4. Because the shoe doesn't have a standard tongue, it's critical to get the right fit. These are non-slip shoes. ons with a lace-up front. Because the shoe is being tightened instead of the tongue, overtightening them causes discomfort. br>br>I hope this was of assistance! To summarize, this is a great shoe for walking, lounging, or shopping, but not for running or the gym. Expect to wear them as slip-ons if you order a 1/2 size down. on a pair of loose-fitting sneakers.
