I'm going to assume that's the case. I buy them in a wide size and they fit perfectly.

I placed an order for black/white and received black/grey/ebony instead.
I've never had a pair of adrenaline GTS 18s before. The Adrenaline GTS 20 on the other hand, is a perfect fit for my regular size of 9 1/2 D. I would argue that when purchasing a shoe, the benchmark should be the actual size of your foot. These are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had. Furthermore, it does not appear to me that the design of how the shoe fits would change numerically from one model to the next. Adrenaline is adrenaline, and it's possible that it's been updated. That is my point of view on the matter. Best of luck...

To begin, I am 6'5" tall and 335 pounds, with a hammer toe that has been diagnosed. After my wife had a baby, I was up to 365 pounds, and I've been working my way down 30 pounds, albeit slowly, since February. My old running shoes were hurting me more than helping me lose weight, so I decided to look for a new pair to help me keep losing weight and train for a half marathon in November. br>So I went to Google. I found this one after sifting through a slew of top running shoe lists in search of shoes rated for heavier runners. I'm not one to spend a lot of money on shoes, but given how far I'd come and how much pain my feet were in after each run, I decided to go for it. br>These shoes are exactly what I was hoping for and more! The cushioning and support they provide have virtually eliminated any foot pain I had developed, as well as the knee pain I was experiencing. During my runs, I've noticed an immediate improvement in endurance and overall comfort, as well as a boost in speed! I never imagined a pair of shoes could make such a difference, especially for a man of my stature. The majority of shoe reviews come from men of average size, or those who do not weigh more than 300 pounds. It's comforting to know that this shoe's reputation is still intact, even in larger sizes. I'm in love with these shoes and plan to wear them for the rest of my training, hopefully through the half marathon and beyond.
Since version 6, I've been running in the Adrenaline GTS model, putting about 400 miles on each pair before switching to new (2 pairs per year on average on the roads). I'm a size 5'11" and 188 pounds, and the GTS have proven to be a dependable sneaker over the years. Since buying them, I've put about 50 miles on them, and I believe this is the best version yet. I was concerned that the switch to "guiderails" in version 19 was a mistake, but everything seems to work fine in this version, which appears to be a little more stripped down than previous versions. I did go down a half size from previous versions, to a size 12, from the previous versions. Now it's 5 normal width vs. 13 is the standard width. You won't mistake this for a racing sneaker, but as a reliable daily trainer that can easily log miles, it's one of my favorites.
I appreciate the assistance they provide! Since the 2014's, I haven't been a fan of Brooks' adrenaline series, but they got it right with the 20's. These shoes are ideal if your feet have a tendency to overpronate and you suffer from plantar fasciitis.
Flat feet are a problem for my husband. These provide comfort, support, and are light in weight. He is a huge fan of these sneakers. She uses them for walking, running, and working out at the gym. Anyone with flat feet should definitely buy this.
I don't believe in giving five stars. I don't get many five-star reviews, but these have set me free! Before I bought new walking/jogging shoes, I had to do a lot of research. I've had bad flat feet since I was a kid and am currently recovering from a year-long battle with plantar fasciitis. I desired a shoe that did not require me to insert insoles. I've always despised the fact that after spending $100 on a pair of shoes, I have to rip out the insole and replace it with my own orthotics. So far, I've walked 200,000 steps in them, and I've finally found a shoe that doesn't require insoles! br>br>Advantagesbr>- Shoe that provides support Most people are unaware that the majority of running shoes (even the most expensive ones) are "neutral" shoes. Even those selling shoes at Dicks Sporting Goods got this wrong, because these shoes labeled as "support" do not have extra support. They tried to persuade me that the Brooks "Ghost" shoes were the same, but they were not. The Adrenaline GTS 20 are a pair of supportive shoes with a few extras. They have a support rail (on the outside of the shoe) that helps keep your heal in place (essential for plantar fasciitis sufferers) so your foot lands correctly every step.
- It has a nice appearance and feel to it. br> The support in these shoes is incredible. 95% of other high-performing companies in the industry This is something that only high-quality shoes can offer. Consbr>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- b It's pricey, but SCOTT is fantastic! But, at the very least, with these shoes, you get what you pay for.
- It's difficult to come by in stores or even on Amazon. I was unable to locate these shoes in- My size (size 13) is available at this location. Khol's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy Sports, and Famous Footwear were among the stores I visited. Brooks is difficult to come by in stores or on Amazon. I only had three colors to choose from out of a total of twenty when shopping online.
Feedback: GTS - GTS 20 - This is my favorite version. GTS 19 - This is my favorite version. It's alright, but it's not quite as good as GTS 19. In the front, the shoe is less comfortable. For some, the fact that it is lighter is a plus. The loss of comfort, which has been the primary reason I've worn Brooks for the past 11 years, was a setback for me. I'm going back to GTS 19 to exchange. If you want a lighter shoe than the GTS 19, these are a good choice, though the front comfort is a little less.
That said, I've been using these to replace my adrenaline 19s, which I purchased about a year ago. Personally, I love the 5th and am a huge fan of guard rails. Brooks has been a dependable brand for me, so I'll be sticking with them for a while. Plus, the price point can't be beat in any store, so I'll be sticking with them for a while.
I just got these in size 9 wide today, and compared them to the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 in size 9D (medium), which fit perfectly. I have a pair of Adidas Ultraboost 20s in 9D and they're fine; however, I did some research and discovered that Brook's width runs narrower in most of their shoes, so I went with wide, which has the same fitment as Pegasus and Ultraboost 20s. So, if a "D" width fits like a sock for you, I'd recommend going half a size up or going wide. br>br>Overall, they are very comfortable and provide ample cushioning from heel to toe. I intend to run with them for short distances, such as 800 meters. Because of the cushioning, they are clearly built for longer distances. These would be nice on your shins, ankles, and knees if you plan on doing mid-distance or sprint training, but they aren't designed for speed. In a few months, I'll provide an update.
