Questions & Answers

Is this product covered by a warranty? Is it coming from the manufacturer or the distributor (seller)? Thank you very much. ?

Hello, could you please tell me the dimensions and weight of the packaging?

Box 1: Torso (approximately) 5" X 22. The weight of a 5" x 11" piece of paper is 28 pounds. br>Box 2 Base approx. 5 lbs. The weight is 18 pounds and the dimensions are 48" x 24" x 16".

Hello! Is it possible to make the base heavier by filling it with water or sand? Thank you very much! ?

It will become heavier due to the presence of sand. When I punch it with water, it wiggles a little. Sand, on the other hand, should make it much more difficult to move. Also, I believe that removing sand from the base will be more difficult than removing water.

What is the size of the bob xl's base circumference? Please take a measurement around the bottom of your shoe, a few inches above the ground. Thank you very much. ?

The dimensions of the base are as follows, Keith. I hope this has been of assistance. Thank you for your time and consideration, and have a pleasant day. br>Base - 19" Diameter x 24" Diameter x 24" Diameter x 24" Dia 5" Tall

Century Bob altered the course of my life
5/5

It's important to keep track of what you eat if you want to lose weight in the long run. However, if you're looking for quick results, this isn't the way to go. Try Century Bob for 30 minutes each day. This thing is insanely cool. It's soft to the touch and easy to move around in. It's simple to set up and a great stress reliever. In the last four months, I've lost 45 pounds. I'm in great shape. This is an absolute must-have!.

Bob is my favorite! What is the significance of Bob's name? Ha! br>br>I was a little hesitant to buy this on Amazon because I'd read some reviews about people getting missing parts and having other issues with their orders
5/5

br>br>Before making this purchase, I did a lot of research on pricing and durability, as well as reading MANY reviews both here and elsewhere. br>br>I'm used to punching bags at the gym, but I was hesitant to drill and hang things in my garage, so I enlisted Bob's help. Furthermore, installing a stand in my garage would have taken up more space than I desired. I would have selected a stand that was both sturdy and large enough to accommodate Bob's footprint in my garage. br>br>No, Bob will not swing back at you like a punching bag, but he is a fantastic technique coach. After using it, I've noticed an improvement in my precision and flexibility. My abs are definitely feeling the burn. br>br>I also looked into filling the base because it seemed to be the one thing that people complained about being difficult. br>Because I've always had a strong kick, I was worried that Bob would do a back-and-forth dance, so I went with sand and pea gravel instead. I purchased approximately 200- At Home Depot's garden section, they both weighed 250 pounds. br>br>I alternated between a bag of sand and a bag of gravel, putting mostly sand at the bottom first, and I decided not to use all of the bags until I had a better sense of my needs, as well as gauging a weight where I could still push it out of the way if necessary. He moves around a little, but not to the point where I have to constantly reset him. That is, after all, the nature of kicking anything. If you're kicking straight to the abs, you'll want to keep an eye on the weight as you go. br>br>Two things I recommend, which I've seen others recommend, is to get 'dry' sand because some will be bagged wet, and to let your gravel dry before putting it into the base. I actually spread out my gravel pebbles on a large piece of cardboard to dry because I didn't want anything moldy or growing in Bob's base. br>br>I used a funnel from a car parts store that was VERY large. Before putting in the base, I would strongly advise getting a bucket and filling it with sand and pebbles. Taking it from there. This is because it can get a little messy, and if you tip a bag in, you'll get a lot of sand in your face. Fortunately, I only made a smidgeon of a mess. I took my time. br>br>At first, I planned to cut a hole in the bag's pointy edge and pour into the funnel, but that bag was quite heavy, and those bags don't hold up well and can tear if not handled properly. I took a shortcut and used a takeout container. I jiggled the funnel while scooping sand and pebbles out of the soup container. I didn't use tape to secure the funnel, and there was very little mess. The funnel's end did a good job of going in. br>br>Be sure to have a vacuum cleaner and a dustpan on hand. Any sand you could use should be dusted up and any leftovers vacuumed up. br>br>After placing about one bag of sand and gravel in the base, I would shake it as hard as I could to distribute the sand and gravel. br>br>Getting the sand and gravel in was a bit of a pain, but it's only a one-time thing, so it's not a big deal. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. So far, everything has gone smoothly. We'll see how he holds up now that I've had it for a while.

It lasts for about a week
3/5

It's great for precision, but it's only good for a short while. I only had a usable bob for a week before it completely disintegrated. br>First, the base broke. When I contacted the seller, they were gracious enough to send me a replacement right away. Is it possible to use the bob after a week? It's not an issue. I've been waiting for so long that I'm willing to wait another week. They were pleasant and competent. br>At this point, the bob comes into play. It detached from the inner tube after a week of use, simply ripping off and leaving holes in the back. When I punch him, the inner padding bunches up under the skin, and he spins around, spewing white stuff out of his back. He also slides off the inner tube, making it impossible to remove him or adjust the height. Don't forget about the $450 price tag. I was able to get a week out of it. This is a costly venture. br>The seller's responsiveness is the only reason for the two-star rating.

Great and useful, but it will undoubtedly move around your room while in use
4/5

Ok. I read all of the reviews before purchasing this item, and I am happy with it. It should be noted, however, that despite the fact that this device can hold up to 300 pounds of sand, it will not remain stationary. If you have this on a wood or smooth cement/tile floor, In a few minutes of punching (I'm a middleweight fighter), it will have crossed the entire room. If you're the type of guy who can kick with his entire bodyweight. This think is nearly unusable for that stuff, especially spinning back kicks. It's not going to stay in one place for long. As a result, as this thing slides around, your hardwood floors will get a good scraping. I even filled mine with 320 pounds of sand. 270, according to the manual. In addition, I poured 5 gallons of water into the mix. So I've got over a hundred pounds of additional ballast, and it's still moving. In any case, this is still the most realistic punching bag on the market. You can also forget about using just water as a foundation. Unless you're a small female fighter or a child.

I've never had a better phony training buddy
5/5

BOB has been in my possession for the past two months. br>I regularly practice Krav Maga, but I also wanted to do some home training. br>I used to work out by shadow boxing or without hitting anything, but this bag has taken my training to a whole new level. br>br>Advantagesbr>- Aim for sensitive areas such as the groin, ribs, throat, chin, eyes, solar plexus, and so on. You can press down on these areas.
- The height can be changed. Keep in mind that the higher you go, the louder your hit will be.
- Soft - Even if you don't wear gloves, it doesn't hurt.
- For ground training, the torso can be taken off the dock. BOB is also how I teach CPR. Even if you can't blow air into the chest and see it inflate, it's still useful for training. Similar to a CPR mannequin, you can press your chest (below the nipple line) and feel resistance.
- I really like the expression on the face and the way the head is turned. It helps to imagine myself training with an enraged man in front of me.
- It's ideal for practicing full-force air or blood chokes. I had never attempted a full force choke before BOB.
- Water or sand can be used to fill the base; I chose water because I live in an apartment. It's as simple as tipping BOB to drain the water.
- BOB never complains about anything and is completely devoid of whining. - br>Consbr>- br>- br>- br>- br> It was difficult for me to adjust the height at first. To get the hang of it, you'll need some time.
- Even when the base is completely filled, it lifts off the ground slightly.
- Instep and groin kicks are not recommended. I'm still stomping on the stem with my foot. br>br>While Bob cannot replace the feel and learning that comes from a real sparring session, it is an excellent way to train when you are alone. I also practice knife attacks and defenses, as well as chokes. You'll need to be inventive, but this will give you more opportunities to practice.
