It is awesome that these Shinguards exist! Despite being light, made well and coated with quality materials, they are comfortable and never hinder movement in any way. Since these pants cover the shin as well as the side of the leg, it is not just the front that is covered. In spite of this, I have to give them a 4 star rating since the bottom wrap scratches your ankle skin pretty badly while In my opinion, you should buy these shingguards if you are able, however, I advise you against wearing them without ankle guards/protectors when sparring otherwise your skin will be severely damaged. However, other than that, these shin guards are exceptionally good.
Aside from MMA and Muay Thai, I also do kickboxing. Top King shin guards are what I use for Muay Thai. In MMA, though, I prefer the fairtex from SP5 to use. I chose it because of the amount of protection it offers as well as the fact that it is very lightweight and does not interfere with a power double or any takedowns that require Read this review and buy the fairtex SP5 shin guards if you need shin guards for MMA. Spend less on cheap gear or the hype associated with the brand. You can consider quality gear as an investment in what you do and most importantly what you do for your.
I have already mentioned that the ankle strap can be uncomfortable and leave a rash on the ankle. They should make the ankle straps a bit longer since I think they are too short. I also noticed a bit of a shoddy quality. There is no leather in it and they are pretty light in weight. Nonetheless, they do protect your shins, so that's what I found to be useful. Barefoot is the best way to wear these. The kind of shin guards I wear in my krav class are too bulky and awkward when I wear shoes. It is not intended to be worn with shoes. The product would ideally be better made if the volumes were 20- to 40- Savings of 30 dollars. i might go with a different brand if i had to do it all over again, but I am not super disappointed, it is just a reasonable price for an average product.
However, I tried the Tanpeki Hayabusa shin guards and they didn't provide enough padding for my needs. (But good for conditioning shins. I purchased a pair of Windy shin guards, but I got them in the wrong size. The shin guards fit me perfectly and I bought them in the medium size. The lighter weight of the kicks makes them easier to throw to the head. My legs fit better around them as well. You just need to tighten them all the way because hard sparring can cause them to rotate some. I wish you a great time teething!.
I purchased these for Muay Thai and MMA training. I wear them about 4 times a week, and I have had them for about five months. As a strong fighter, I prefer the fact that the design is higher on my knee, because sometimes, during sparring, my knees can collide with another. They are lightweight, so leave plenty of room for Moreover, the straps are strong, so you won't have to worry about the tears if someone catches your kick and you pull it out. Cleaning them immediately after training with antibacterial wipes at the gym is easy, and I then spray Lysol on them once I get home is also simple. So far, there has been no chaffing or weird skin reaction from the straps or lining. As long as you keep them clean and let them air out after training, you shouldn't have any problems. Bottom line Do not let your gym gear sit in your.
Although it arrived fairly quickly, we were disappointed by the fact that it was a little too small for our needs. is my very first time to order one of these items, so I didn't know what size my son would be, especially since he is growing so quickly! My son is 14 years old and is currently 5 ft 5 in. tall. The size on this item was too small so I had to return it and order a size up. I was disappointed since we needed this right away so that he could train. Sometimes he does not always get the items he needs at the gym he attends. He uses loaners when he attends his gym. I am pretty bummed since this means that we will have to wait longer for the one I ordered which is a size bigger.
I have been wearing these shinguards for about a year and a half and they still look just as good as the first day I got them. The thing is, these things can handle abuse for a lifetime. Taking part in sparring will require you to use thick padding, which your sparring partners will be grateful for. Despite a lot of usage, the straps and velcro appear to be in excellent condition, without scratches or stains. feel that I won't have to replace these pads for a long time due to their high quality.
