I usually buy the cheapo ones from Walmart, but I thought I'd give this one a shot because I like Hayabusa gear. It seemed strange at first because it held the cup lower and at a sharper angle than I was used to. Which is much more comfortable and provides better protection. Nothing else will be purchased by me in the future. BJJ and May Thai are two of the techniques I use.

AAA- Mesh with a nice strap. Breathable. As comfortable as one of these can be, I wear it over my boxer briefs to prevent the back straps from cutting into my legs, and it pairs perfectly with the HAYABUSA cup. They also sell a cup that is both durable and comfortable. AN EXCELLENT ITEM FOR ANYONE WHO WISHES TO PROTECT THEIR "FAMILY JEWELRY".

Hang low for better protection and coverage

It may or may not work with your particular cup, but it does work well with this company's cop. The cup is in a velcro bag, and the taint is cut low. The band will not sit flush against your waist; instead, it will hang low in the front, allowing the cup to reach the taint, which is a little strange.

I purchased it to use with the Exoforged cup. With the cup in place, the cup pocket cannot be Velcro closed. The jock doesn't have a bad fit, but the cup protrudes from the top of the pocket, and I'm concerned that it will come out during sparring. It'll go into my gear bag as a backup.

I had to get this because I had already purchased the super traditional hayabusa steel cup. This is a really nice piece of equipment. I strongly suggest it.
