Questions & Answers
Because I usually wear large clothing, I ordered large armor guards, which were too big for me. They were sold to a chubby gentleman. And they served him well. I placed an order for mediums and was pleased with the results. I have not yet had the opportunity to put them to use. Thank you for your support, COVID-
Aside from self-defense, there isn't much reason to buy them. They're padded, so they'll take the sting out of a baton strike, and they'll protect your knuckles to some extent when punching, but they're not ideal. I use them to train with my Kali sticks and they are very effective.

We're new to karate and thus unfamiliar with the standard equipment. You can definitely feel more impact with these than with the foam gloves, but my kids still like them, and there appears to be enough padding so far, but they're only 9 and 10 years old, so no major hitting yet. We haven't attended any tournaments yet, so we don't know if they are permitted.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money on thick padded gloves, so I bought these instead. They're just thick enough to provide some padding for the fist and forearm without being overly so. Now I'm having fun with B. without injuring my fists and forearms against his immovable features.
It turned out to be exactly what I expected. I've already used it for training purposes a few times.
It adds an extra layer of Impact Protection, which I like. Adults of any age group will find this useful. This is an excellent product.
Very high quality.
I bought these to protect my forearm while learning WingChun and avoid getting bruises.
It's a good fit and it's nice and comfy.
