Selected User Reviews For Century Martial Arts Hand/Forearm Armor Guards
I have two spring-loaded free-standing bags from Everlast: a hydro bag and a powercore bag. I set them up so that I can punch and kick my way from bag to bag. I bought century shin guards and these forearm guards for this purpose. According to the included literature, they aren't designed for hard strikes, but they're perfect for my workouts. I wear them under my hyabusa tokushu regenesis 16 oz gloves, which makes the gloves much more comfortable and saves me time wrapping my hands. Yes, it is very important to wrap your hands. However, after a good workout wrapped in these guards, my hands are more sore than they are with these guards under my gloves. The hand/knuckles area of the guard does have padding. br>However, hyabusa gloves have excellent wrist support, so my previous statement may not be accurate in another glove.
This item is labeled "hand and forearm," and it includes a one-piece hand and forearm glove. Only the forearm was given to me. When I contacted the seller, I was told that the description said "protects your forearm" despite the fact that the picture showed a hand and a forearm. As a result, this is what I got.
These arm guards provide adequate protection for the forearms, but not so much for the hands and knuckles. However, if you only use light sparingly, these are a good investment. I read some cosplay reviews, and while they look cool and the Century logo is easy to peel off, the material they're made of would be difficult to paint or modify. I'm a big guy with big arms, so I got a large and it's perfect.
For work, I use these on a regular basis. I work with autistic and BITE children who are extremely aggressive. That's where these come in handy. My students don't bite as hard because the grooves in their guards seem to bother their gums.
They make me feel at ease; I wish they were red, but they helped me model my characters for a game I'm working on. They're also quite warm and long-lasting. They do have a problem with lint attachment, but they are otherwise excellent. I wish the finger split was even rather than isolating one finger, but you get used to it after a while.
This is fantastic! However, I would suggest ordering a size smaller than you think. At 6'2" and 210 pounds, I ordered the large, and they're a little loose in some places. It's not impossible to fix!.
They're both light and pliable. I've had them for about a year and am very happy with them. They're both light and pliable. It's a shame they don't make them anymore.
I would recommend them because they look exactly like the picture. I'd purchase it again if the opportunity arose.
