An animal like a horse would not be comfortable wearing this halter.

How good is this for calves?

No matter what size cow you have, this product will work. The strap can be adjusted completely. There is no rule on how large or small the loop should be over the ears or at the nose. As well as a new born calf, I have also used this on a In order to adapt appropriately, they just have to be somewhat calm.

The fit was great and the materials were Having halter breaks on our heifers was important to us, so we bought 2 of these

The cords have held up pretty well when they've been pulled on and tied. If you are looking for these, I would definitely suggest them. When they give in and remain silent, the metal clip that the rope passes through allows for a quicker release of pressure.

My favorite products and company are these two, but this one is not appealing to me
3/5

It's always been easy for me to lead my dairy cows using these poly rope halters. This one's metal hardware caught my attention, so I was eager to give it a try. Heffers are upset with the noseband because the right piece digs into their faces when it is connected to the right piece of the noseband. Another one was purchased because I assumed it might be a defect, but this second halter also has the same issue. This company and its products are great, but this product isn't my cup of tea.

Quite the opposite of what I had expected
4/5

It can be a little I watched a video on Youtube that made it seem so simple. In the first two days it worked fine on both of our heifers. In the third day, it didn't work at all. There was an error on the part of the user- Apparently, I could not get it to work on them. Because both of them had used horse halters, they kept up with them with a lead rope and those. I think I'll stick to the way we're used to it since that's what we're used to. I might try these again next time I have calves.

Weaver is one of our favorites! The weaver brand is a household name for my family and I
5/5

The products offered by these companies are of the highest quality. There is no exception to the rule with this breaking halter. A loop that allows slack when the calf is relaxed is exactly what we think will appeal to our customers. We give these halters to every show animal in our care!.

I'm fine with it
4/5

I really like the fact that it is easy to use and really durable. He kind of moves up and down the cow's face a lot, but he gets her to point A to When using the rope, you just have to watch your step and be aware of where the rope is.

In my opinion, this is a good piece of equipment for breaking horses
3/5

In my opinion, this is a good piece of equipment for breaking horses. As I expected, Amazon doesn't allow returns past the return date, so I found out after 4 days that the clasp broke. /

*Updated A new set of 2 was installed in its place. Neither has caused any issues since they were first used.

The quality of the goods is poor
3/5

The rope ends were shaped in the wrong direction. Heffer feels uncomfortable when that happens.

You could end up with terrible hand damage! This product can damage your hands, it hurts your hands, has too much slip to it (my 700 lb steer untied it even with a safety tie on it), and if he knew he could throw me and get away, it would cause some serious injuries
3/5

Keep it away from me!.
