Questions & Answers

Could a hackney pony wear the small size?

I'm not certain. It's the right size for my regular horse (Paso Fino 14). 3) without a doubt On a smaller horse, I'm not sure where the knots should be.

Do you think a large would fit my thoroughbred?

This trail halter should fit your thoroughbred almost perfectly. It's the perfect fit for both of my horses. one of a medium size (15. 3) and a total of nearly 17 hands

Is there a mule size?

My draft is barely big enough for a large, but it would depend on the size of your mule. In my neighborhood, for example, there are a lot of draft mules.

Is it a good enough substitute for a Clinton Anderson halter?

There is no way. This halter is functional, but it is also extremely soft. Clinton's halters are a little too stiff. If you want a similar feel to Clinton's, try the Mustang brand or one I bought from Columbia Basin Knot Company, LLC. "4 knot rope halter - black" was the description of the halter. Polyester stiffness of 5 mm " Take note of the word "stiff" in the description.

The term "large" does not apply to this situation
3/5

The product itself is in perfect condition. The issue is that the description is incorrect. There are three different sizes to choose from. There are three sizes of people: small, average, and large. I interpreted it to mean that an average size horse, such as a quarter horse, would fit a percheron, and vice versa. I had made a mistake. I don't think the large will fit my quarter horse; it's too big. I understand that the terms small, average, and large can all be interpreted differently, which helps to explain my situation. My issue is that they won't accept the item back unless I order something else. I'm at a loss because I already own a large.

This is an excellent training tool
5/5

This headstall has come in handy for training our horse on occasion. Mostly for the sake of security. When we are teaching him something new and he isn't responding well, its gentle firm pressure provides the response we need to keep him safe. He will then change his behavior to ensure our safety, and we remove it and replace it with a regular head stall. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together.

Rope halter with a lot of pressure! Morgan, who stands 15 feet tall, is a perfect fit for a size average
5/5

This is a lightweight rope halter that can help your horse respond more quickly to your commands. Wow, this is fantastic! Any rope halter, on the other hand, would. This one is great because it has the extra knots on the nose. It shouldn't be too hard or too soft. I got the tan/black color, and it looks great on my bay mare. It's well-made with attention to detail. She's 1000 pounds, 15 inches tall, and nine years old, with a wonky Morgan head, and the "average" size is just right for her. For the money, this is a fantastic purchase. Every weaver product I've ordered has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality.

The halter is perfect
5/5

I found exactly what I needed. My quarter horse is a miniature. There are no bulky ropes on this halter, so it fits perfectly. It has a great appearance and is extremely useful.

A good halter with a thin rope
5/5

This rope halter has a medium stiffness and is very thin. It's ideal for my young mule and I when we're out and about - It gives me a lot of power when I need it, but it's gentle on her. It's simple to tie and untie, as well as adjust for proper fit.

Halter with power steering
5/5

In terms of personality, my horse is very strong and dominant. Someone recommended that I get a four-knot halter instead of a two-knot halter. I had no idea such a thing existed. There is a significant distinction. He tries to flee and pull the rope from my grip, but I'm able to keep a firm grip on him with far less effort, almost as if this halter had been fitted with power steering. You'll have a little more control. This is something I strongly suggest.

It's as simple as tying a knot and heading out the door
5/5

I bought this product over a year ago, and it's still going strong after a lot of use, including getting wet and dirty! My husband and I enjoy how simple it is to put it on and go; there are no halters or bits. I had to include my husband in the photo because he isn't a big rider and prefers the Weaver Silver Tip knotted rope halter!.

As described on the website - AWESOME for underwear! halter with a bridle rope This light, knotted halter is one of my favorites
5/5

I got it "used," but it was still in its original plastic bag and BRAND NEW, so it must have just been the wrong size. OUTSTANDING! I got it for 2/3 the price it was originally.
