I purchased this because my previous 20" one was too short to go around my draft's nose and was pinching him. I'm able to wrap it all the way around and attach it to itself, allowing me to lunge and switch directions without having to stop and swap chains or worry about pinching if she bucks. This product is of excellent quality, and I strongly recommend it. Believe me when I say that I have a chestnut mare with a bad attitude who hasn't budged yet.
It was rusted in less than a month after purchase. We had kept it in our tack room, out of the elements, so I was surprised to find it rusted.
Longer chain was required in order to lunge in both directions without stopping to adjust!.
Very happy, as shown in the photo.
Moving the clip up and down is extremely difficult.
This was ideal for teaching my obnoxious gelding to trailer load and lead in a respectful manner.
This is exactly what I needed for my horse, and I'm very happy with it.
