Hello there, br>br>Br>br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br The leather is black, and the hardware that holds it together is gold-colored solid brass. The black and chrome combination is made up of black leather and silver-colored chrome hardware that holds the leather in place. Tack Shack of Ocala makes both halters with excellent quality and attention to detail. The color of the hardware is the only distinction between the two halters. This would be determined by the size of your horse's head. I recommend that you take measurements of your old halter, whether it's made of nylon or leather. Measure the top of your nose and the top of your cheeks. The hardware should not be included. I'm sending you the measurements for our halters (only nylon or leather pieces). br> br> The halter for a warmblood horse measures: Cheek 9", Nose 15", Crown 26" tip to tip br> Horse size halter measurements are: Cheek 9", Nose 15", Crown 26" tip to tip br> br>The cheek is where the plate will go, and our measurements DO NOT include the hardware; the cheek is 8", the nose is 14", and the crown is 24". We only take measurements of the leather - br>The nose measurements are for the top piece that goes over the nose, and the hardware is not included.
The name plate is already attached to the name plate. It's quite lovely. On my horse, I really enjoy it. It's extremely durable!
Selected User Reviews For Tack Shack of Ocala Leather Halter with Customized Engraved Name Plate Option Halter for Horse | Cob, Horse, and Warmblood Brown/Brass, Padded Halter (Blue or Green) Black/Brass, Black/Chrome Options
It appeals to me. It appears to be fantastic. It's a little big, and the bottom part can't be adjusted; otherwise, it'd be a five-star rating! For my quarter horse, I selected the appropriate size. br>br>*Tack Shack contacted me after I posted my review and offered to replace the holder with a smaller one! They saw the picture and decided that a cob version would be more appropriate. That made me very happy because I thought it was very nice. I sent it back for $8 using a flat rate envelop and received my new Halter in about 2 weeks (I live in Hawaii). br>I'm glad I returned it because the new one is perfect! br>The customer service was excellent! br>Tack shack, thank you!.
This is the halter I ordered for our pony, complete with a personalized name plate. The leather is stunning, and the brass hardware is equally so. My pony is a large, bordering on small pony, so I ordered the cob size. It's the perfect fit for her and she looks and feels great in it. The engraving is flawless and appears to be extremely long-lasting! Our buckskin pinto mare looks absolutely stunning in it. Apart from that, it arrived ahead of schedule! The Tack Shack of Ocala is highly recommended! 👍.
Tack Shack of Ocala, you're the best! Jae collaborated with me to create the ideal size and fit for our Aralusian (Arab and Andalusian mix), and we faced a unique challenge in doing so; The leather is of good quality for the price, with a soft fit that we prefer, and Jae suggested alternatives and expedited shipping so we could get exactly what we wanted. They really go out of their way to help and make recommendations for the best outcome, and it looks great on him! Thank you a lot - We'll continue to purchase and recommend!.
It screams quality, from the gorgeous brass buckles and nameplate to the rolled leather chin strap. br>br>I placed an order for a custom nameplate and halter late one night, and it arrived the next day! My only custom order for my new horse outperformed all other shipments, which astounded me greatly. br>br>I wholeheartedly endorse Tack Shack of Ocala!.
It only took me ten minutes to put on my three-year-old because he always kicks. But eventually, he agreed to let me wear it. I have a feeling he'll enjoy it just as much as I do. I'm glad I got the cob size; he's a 700 pound Arabian and it's on the smallest holes, but it fits him perfectly (I might add another hole to make it smaller, but Arabs always fit differently in halters). Halter is very nice. Thank you very much.
It's a good fit, the leather is thick, and the stitching is strong. Also, the shipping was quick. We will definitely order from this vendor in the future for our upcoming thoroughbreds in Saratoga, New York.
The leather is soft and easy to work with. The name plate's personalization was perfect. It arrived in a timely manner, just in time for the holidays. The leather dye rubbed off a little on my fingers at first, so if you're buying it for a light-colored horse, you might want to wipe it down and condition it before using it. I'd buy from this seller again in a heartbeat!.
I used to work in Ocala and loved going into the store; I've since moved back to Michigan and was thrilled to learn that they're now on Amazon, making it even easier to get high-quality leather goods from across the country!.
