The shipping weight of 25 pounds is, in my opinion, an oversight. This is a large-scale project that will require a lot of time and effort. duty bag. It's fantastic, but getting it hung up by myself was quite a workout. br>I'd put it in your cart and see what the shipping costs are when you get to the checkout. Better yet, upgrade to Prime and save money on that as well as a slew of other items. William
I suppose you could, but it's a punching bag, so I'm not sure why you'd want to sit on it.
It is loaded onto ships.
Only the chain and rings are included; no other mounting hardware is included.

You will be grateful to your hands. This bag is not worth the money; if you want a durable, heavy bag that you can use every day, look elsewhere. They won't be as cheap as this, but you'll save money and time in the long run. This bag has been in my possession for three months, and I've used it almost every day since then. Here's a rundown of the issues I've encountered since it arrived: br>br>1) Not properly/safely packed. You *must* repack this bag from the beginning, as other reviewers have stated; it felt like punching concrete out of the box. PUNCHING A HEAVY BAG SHOULD NOT BE HARD! Because it's made up of shredded fabric and small plastic sandbags, repacking this thing was a huge pain. A few of the sandbags had burst, and the rest had sunk to the bag's bottom. I couldn't completely re-stuff it on my own. The bag has now "settled," which means the bottom 1/3rd is too dense to punch safely, the middle is fine, and the top 1/3rd is basically floppy. Not good. br>br>2) Zipper that is broken. The zipper was broken from the start, making repacking much more difficult. It wouldn't be a problem if the bag had been packed from the beginning, but we're not there yet. br>br>3) A D- that didn't work out After a few months, ring the bell. One of the D-type characters Because the bag's support rings failed, I had to purchase a heavy-duty carabiner to hang it from. Another cost that, on a nicer bag, would most likely be unnecessary.
To begin, I'd like to point out that the bag's construction and quality are excellent. It includes high-quality steel mounting hardware (3 carabiner clips, a swivel, and a 10" chain), as well as a bag made of high-quality materials. Canvas is used to line the inside, and the stitching is thick and secure. To prevent the bag from opening up, even the top zipper is self-locking (pull "up" on the pull tab to unlock and unzip). br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND, The quality of the "stuffing" ends there. The bag contains shredded textile scrap (cotton/polyester/nylon/spandex, etc. ) and ten plastic bags (about the size of large ziplock bags) filled with construction sand (each weighing about 5 pounds). The problem is that these plastic sand-filled bags are loose inside this textile scrap, and even the tiniest movement or jarring (even laying the bag on its side) will cause them to "jiggle" and fall to the outside of the bag. You risk serious injury to your hand or wrist if you punch one of these sand bags, and the only solution is to repack the heavy bag. br>br>If you buy this bag and intend to use it responsibly, you should be prepared to repack it yourself. I did. I took five of the ten sand bags out of the bag and placed the ones that weren't busted in the bottom for weight. I then repacked the bag with a baseball bat, compacting the stuffing and squeezing it all in. I can now use the bag without worrying about hitting a vacuum-packed sand bag. I have to say, after repacking the bag, it is an incredible heavy bag. It's very sturdy, and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind restuffing it a little. Cheers!.
The 80-pound version was what I chose. There was no need for me to repack this - Regardless, When punching, I always wrap my wrists and wear boxing gloves, and I've never had a problem with it being too hard. For mounting, I made my own heavy chain and screwed the ends into two different joyces in the ceiling, suspending it from a V shape of the chain. The side-to-side motion was significantly reduced as a result of this. Then, to reduce fore/aft motion, tie a rope to the d link and pull it backward about an inch to a third point behind it. Last, I made a V at the bottom and secured it to my concrete with string and two small springs so it wouldn't sway too much. br>br>Only regret is that I didn't buy a taller version for my kicks to the head and lower legs. But it's only good for punching and hits to the head and torso.
This appears to be a perfectly fine bag (I punch it, it doesn't punch back, I'm not sure what else to say), but the top-side-side-side-side-side-side-side-side side-side-side-side-side-side-side-side-side-side Within two days of use, the side carabiner on the hanging chain began to stretch and bend, and it no longer closes. I used one of the Everlast ceiling mounts that were recommended and followed the instructions exactly. I'm not exactly Chuck Norris when it comes to hitting things, but it immediately gave out. I'll continue to use the bag, but the inconvenience of having to order another clip is enough to detract from my rating!.
I liked the bag at first, but the contents settled at the bottom, which meant I'd have to take it down and spread the contents out on a regular basis. Other than that, the bag was fine until one of the riveted top straps that held the bag up ripped one day while I was punching. This is a product that I do not recommend.
However, there were some shipping issues; overall, a good deal, but the packaging was a little shabby. Before it was sent to me, it appeared to have been returned and repackaged. I would have given it a higher rating if it hadn't been for that. Aside from that, the zipper pull on the bag's opening zipper was broken. I don't intend to open it anytime soon, so it wasn't a big deal to me (which is probably why it was returned). br>br>Once you get past the shipping issues, you'll find that this is a high-quality bag. The hanging hardware was of good quality and came with the package. "It's got a lot of oomph," says the author. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, inexpensive heavy bag.
I bought this bag after the straps on my previous bag snapped after six years of use. This bag has been performing admirably for over a year, with no tears or scratches (despite kickboxing while wearing shoes). If the size is appropriate for your punching/kicking strength, it is highly recommended.
It's hung in my garage, and I use it on a regular basis. I had been considering purchasing one for quite some time and now regret not doing so sooner. It's a great way to work out while also releasing tension; it works your core, arms, chest, and back all at the same time. I didn't have any of the issues that others have had with the filler shifting or settling during shipping. Before hitting it, I did, however, open the bag to make sure it was in good condition. I recommend that you do the same to avoid injury. This is a bag that you will not be sorry to own. I also purchased the hanger and anchor, which I highly recommend.
