Questions & Answers

Can the toes be seen through the instep of the shoe?

My preference is not for this

The height and weight of my body are 5'10" and 165 lb, respectively. What size should I order? From your experience, it appears to be best fit with the m, or should I order the L?

I'm 5'8 and I weigh 135 lbs, so I have to say that these are the perfect size. That's all. My size is like 100% perfect fit for me, i don't know if l will be too big or if m is a little bit not perfect, but for me they are like 100% perfect.

Could these be used to play soccer as well? In the men's league I will fill in for someone else. ?

These guards aren't suitable for soccer, in my opinion

How does the strap work? Is it under the foot or behind the heel only?

Both under the foot as well as behind the heel of the item is a strap.

I got a crazy chemical burn and rash after they touched me
3/5

After the guards burned and rubbed me, I had to take steroid shots to heal my rash. Although I've never had a problem with any other venum products, it seems like they use a nasty chemical somewhere to manufacture these things. The guards seem to be one of the biggest problems in some places. I recommend trying them out for only 15 minutes or so at the beginning, and seeing if that irritates your skin. It was so uncomfortable that I couldn't even put my shoes on after sparring for an hour in them.

Shin guards to protect your shins when It is well fitted and does not move around
5/5

The shin guards provide adequate protection, and they In my classes of Krav Maga and Sparology, they are very beneficial. In addition, they have been complimented by other members of my studio, since no one else has this style. The first order I made was a Medium, which were too small, but after I returned them I ordered a Large, My height is 5'10" and weight is 155 pounds I'm lean and healthy. A pair of shoes measuring 10 1/2 inches wide. It is my hope that this will help someone who wants to get the right.

A great pair of shinguards! My wife and I are new to Muay Thai and I wanted my own shinguards for In spite of researching extensively, I decided to give these a try and was absolutely blown away by them
5/5

The straps that hold them onto the user should be properly adjusted so as not to shift when in use. As well as offering great protection, these shinguards are also lightweight. As for sizing chart, it seemed to fit me accurately I may have been able to go a size smaller, but just to be safe I followed the sizing guide. I highly recommend these for anyone who is just getting into Muay Thai or has an intermediate skill level.

The gloves are durable
5/5

The Venum gloves usually pop a seam, but these have lasted to the end. However, the quality is slightly below what I would expect for the price. Whenever I go to Century, I'm just going to go there.

Shin guards you can't go wrong with for the price
5/5

them when sparring in Muay Thai and they fit very well, provide excellent protection, and don't need to be adjusted no matter how many times I've checked, kicked, had my kicks caught and slipped out, or how much sweat I was producing. I also feel no lag in my movement with these. They are lightweight, and they don't slow me down at all. The weight of the woman I am is 145 lbs and she is 5'8". I bought a 30" inseam for it and it fit I disagree that the velcro straps are a bit cheap, but they are strong enough to hold up during sparring. At this price point, however, it is hard to beat these shinguards.

Better things can be had if you invest
3/5

Despite the excellent packaging, the product did not arrive damaged. This is not something to complain about. I tried them on and found them very uncomfortably fitted. Saving money wasn't my primary goal, but I ultimately regretted my decision. They were a better quality and more economical choice than the other Venoms that were a little more expensive. Do not be a cheat, protect your shins, unless you plan on using.

I have found the quality of the product to be good
5/5

The 13-year-old received these as a gift. A karate match between my son and his friend. The Venum Challengers have been very good for him in protecting his shins and ankles as well as providing him comfort. Instructors and students have recommended the Venum Challengers to him because of their positive experiences. They are much cooler than soccer type guards, since the straps are adjustable.

I love these
5/5

It takes me 5'11" and 165 lbs to get through most of the exercise I do. I love these. It takes me 5'11" and 165 lbs to get through most of the exercise I do. I have skinny legs (with a Large that fits perfectly), while people with normal sized legs with room to adjust may want to get the medium. In sparring, the straps around the back of the leg work very well to prevent the guards from slipping from side to side. The shin guards I am using do not restrict my ability to move at the knee and ankle as I have experienced with other products.
