Zensah Thigh Compression Sleeve – Hamstring Support, Quad Compression Sleeve for Men and Women - Thigh Sleeve Wrap, Great for Running, Sports, Groin Pulls

After pulling a muscle in my right thigh a few months ago, it's helped me maintain a normal daily routine. I also have sciatica in that leg, as well as a groin injury from a few years ago. pbr>br>I bought this sleeve in a size XL based on the measurements, but it didn't provide enough compression (and would just side down), so I returned it without hesitation and purchased a Large. To give you a sense of scale, my leg is 16 inches long. 5 inches at the knee, 22 inches in the lower thigh, and 25 inches in the upper thigh. The Large provides a good level of compression, is comfortable to wear, and breathes well. I keep it on throughout the day, whether I'm sitting, standing, walking, or exercising. For exercise and walking, however, I need to wear an additional groin wrap (I use the McDavid 475 Adjustable Groin Wrap) over this sleeve for added support. br>br>Cons: br>br>Cons: br>br>Cons: br>br>Cons: br>b Definitely the price! I'm not sure why this item is so expensive. It appears to be far too expensive to me, but I recently purchased a second one because I'm experiencing pain on the outside of my left thigh, and while I wish they were less expensive, I suppose they're worth it! Another drawback is that the top band rolls down a little because it fits snugly on my upper thigh, but it still stays up with a little rolling. Another disadvantage, as I previously stated, is that I require additional support for exercise and even simple walking (like speed shopping lol). It's fine for a light stroll, but if I'm in a hurry and will be moving faster, or will be doing any type of hills or inclines, I will also wear the groin wrap. Overall, I believe that this sleeve is extremely beneficial for thigh pain and stiffness while sitting and performing general daily tasks, as well as for more intense activities such as exercise and speed shopping. ), I'd go with something else or a second sleeve wrap. It's breathable, has a good stretch, and provides support without being too stiff or thick, which I like.

Every day, I run or cycle as a 43-year-old male who stands 6'1" tall, weighs 180 pounds, and has skinny legs. I was planning on ordering a large, but after reading the reviews, I decided to go with an XL, and I'm glad I did. It's not too tight, but it's not too loose either. I recently injured my left quad while playing soccer, and this sleeve has allowed me to continue running and playing while healing. It's not as if it's a miracle- It will support you, keep your muscles warm, and give you some assurance that you are doing the right thing. You must still exercise caution when it comes to intensity and whatever activity you are engaging in. I got a 1 in the game. Today in the United States, there was a five-hour soccer match. I had to pull the sleeve up three times in the Midwest heat/humidity, which felt like I was in a shower. That isn't a big deal to me because I ran over 5 miles during the game and didn't know if the thing would even stay on because I was completely soaked in sweat and constantly moving. It did, and it did so in an "age-appropriate" manner. "I'm a big fan of Zensah's products because they perform well. " This thigh sleeve joins the ranks of calf sleeves, knee sleeves, and calf sleeves. I buy everything myself, and I only write reviews in the hopes of assisting someone in making a more informed decision about a potential purchase.

Assists in the removal of pain. I had a hamstring injury, so I thought I was getting two when I bought it, but it only came with one. I thought the price was exorbitant for only one item. However, it worksbr>br>Prosbr>Even compression throughoutbr>Very durable/strong materialbr>Excellent supportbr>The top of the material by the rubber part never rolled over even after wearing for 12 hours. br>Very comfortable (just takes a little getting used to)br>br>Consbr>I had only worn it for 1 1/2 months and the material had already stretched so much that it kept slipping. br>br Now it's impossible to wear I had to go out and buy another one. br>Keep in mind that if you need to wear one for an extended period of time, it will stretch and you will have to pay an additional $24 for a new pair. 00 for another one in a hurry. (I wore mine for about ten hours on average. ) 12 hours a day, 5 days a week for 1 1/2 months (when it started stretching and sliding down). br>br>Before buying my second pair of Zensah thigh sleeves, I bought another pair of compression thigh sleeves for $12. I can tell you that the other ones had uneven compression, were very tight and uncomfortable, and the top of the band rolled over in less than 2 minutes, whereas the Zensah never did, even after wearing it all day. What you pay for is exactly what you get. br>br>For the stability and compression factor, I highly recommend these. It really works, and it took the pain in my hamstring to the point where I could walk fairly well with it on. I couldn't walk without being in excruciating pain for the first few days after the injury because it was off.

Also, the upper and lower bands are painfully tight. This is a bad design. The top and bottom bands provide the only real compression on this garment. And that's a lot less compression than. . . tight. And, yes, it's a little too tight. There isn't really any compression in the band's body. br>br>One could say: To keep the sleeve in place, the top and bottom bands must be snug. This, however, is not the case. Other compression garments, most notably calf/shin sleeves, are also in my collection. It's not circulation that's holding them back--it's the lack of it. The fact that the sleeve's body is sufficiently compressed is more important than the presence of constricting bands. br>br>I would have loved to have been able to wear thigh compression sleeves. They aren't the ones you're looking for. To reiterate: The top and bottom bands are uncomfortably tight, and the sleeve is lacking in compression. It's a problem with the way things are designed. Zensah had failed to live up to my expectations.
