Questions & Answers

What size would you recommend for a petite woman with 11-inch biceps?

The smallest size available for this brand is a Medium, according to my research. I'm petite, with toned arms (though I haven't measured my biceps). I couldn't wear it because it was too big.

What is the nature of the material used in their construction?

To tell you the truth, I have no idea. I believe the material was polyester or nylon. I wasn't able to get it all the way on my arm. I couldn't get the whole garmet on right to get the total compression of the arm that I needed because it was extremely tight just before the elbow. I, too, have slender arms. I think I ordered medium, but it's been a while.

Is it true that a pair of sleeves equals two?

Yes, two sleeves are included in the package.

Would you recommend the medium or large size for my 12 inch biceps?

I'm nearly 12" tall and ordered a s/m, which fits perfectly.

It's ideal for tendonitis of the keyboard
5/5

I'm a programmer who's had crippling tendonitis for nearly half of my life, and I used to use Tommie Copper's long compression sleeves, but they were discontinued, so I had to look for something else. br>br>These BeVisible sleeves (named after a computer programmer, ironically) are fantastic! They've got a lot of it. The pain is almost bearable now, thanks to a tight band in the middle that applies extra pressure *right* where it hurts the most!.

I think you'll like this one if you measure it carefully
4/5

These are well-made and offer adequate compression. Over a year ago, I severely injured all of my tendons and wrist, and I'm still limited in how much I can use my arm without causing a major flare-up. Up to the elbow, this sleeve is extremely useful. I have no idea why. That's all it takes. My only complaint is the size, so I'll share my thoughts on that as well as the seller. I was unsure what size to order after measuring 12 inches around my bicep. 10- 12 or 12- Because I have small wrists and am small boned, I ordered the smaller size. They'd probably stretch out as well, I reasoned. These, on the other hand, are extremely tight on me, and I couldn't wear them for more than ten minutes. Inside my elbow, around the top band, and on the forearm where the extra compression band is, I had large red creases. I had to fold the top band down, but after a while they did stretch out a little and I was able to increase my time; the band measures 11 inches when worn on my arm. I was afraid of shrinkage if I washed it. When I explained the problem I was having, the seller emailed me and explained the product, as well as telling me that they would loosen up after a few washes. It was fantastic to hear back from them. I haven't washed them yet, so I'm deducting one star for comfort/fit; however, if they become more comfortable after a few washes, I'll revise my rating. Right now, I'm still thinking I should've gone up a size. I'll inform you.

This is an excellent product
5/5

So far, I like this set of arm compression sleeves a little better than one of the other similar sets. It felt a little too tight at first, but once you get used to it, it's perfect. I tore my long head bicep tendon about a week ago, and the doctor decided that, even though I exercise and run regularly, it would be best for me not to have surgery. I'll be 65 in a few months, and from what I've read, regular wear and tear can contribute to this type of injury. I had just purchased a Bowflex PR1000 and was about to let my gym membership lapse when I felt and heard a pop in the top of my right bicep and experienced pain while twisting the gas cap on my lawnmower. I then noticed a large indentation between the bottom front of my shoulder and the top of my bicep. Anyway, it's only been a week and I'm already regaining strength and using my arm more and more with decreasing pain levels. My doctor has also given me the green light to do whatever I want, and I have a follow-up appointment with a specialist in about four weeks. I also cut my grass the next day, even before getting clearance from the doctor, because I figured if I wasn't in pain, it was fine, and knowing it was already torn (as evidenced by an MRI), what more could I do to it? The BeVisisble sleeves aid in providing support and restoring normalcy to my arm. Kinesiology tape is another tool that I use. I haven't tried it out on a run yet, but I have used the CompressionZ sleeve, which I enjoy using for running and will review soon. In comparison to the other one, which is a little too long, the length is ideal. My biceps are 12 inches long and 12 inches wide. 6" x 6" x 6" x 6" x 6" In terms of size and length, big is ideal. I'm 5'11" and weigh 165 pounds, and my arm length is about 22" from the top of my shoulder to the middle of my wrist. I hope this information is useful, but this sleeve comes highly recommended.

I had to return these due to the fact that they were too
5/5

Unfortunately, I had to return these due to their excessive size. It's not because the clothes are too big; it's because I'm too small. Based on the company's customer service, I gave them a five-star rating. They responded quickly to my inquiry and listened carefully to my requests. Even if a product doesn't work for you due to your body type, that doesn't mean it's not great. The importance of customer service is emphasized here, and it is for this reason that the five-star rating is given.

It appears to run small, but once I found a size that fit, I was very happy with it
4/5

I ordered the smaller size based on the available sizing information, but it was far too small, so it was exchanged for a larger size (the company that makes them assisted with this, and they were fantastic to work with!). The larger size is a good fit for me. I got the compression I needed on my upper arm (where I'm recovering from surgery), with less on my lower forearm, and it was loose enough on the wrist that I could easily check my watch, which I couldn't do with other sleeves. There's also a band just below the elbow that provides a little more compression and feels good.

Design is not suitable for both men and women
3/5

Following a unilateral injury sustained while lifting weights, I intended to use only one sleeve. I weigh 130 pounds and stand 5'4" tall. Wrists that are extremely slender I bought the smallest size, but the sleeve is still swimming at the wrist and the other end is nearly in the axilla. Men with large biceps appear to be the target market for this design. I returned the item because I would have needed an extra small/short size.

They have a new appearance, but they are still very comfortable
5/5

I've used the arm sleeves twice (during workouts) and they're better than the ones I've used previously. I have a little trouble getting them as high on my arm as I'd like, but putting on compression sleeves and stockings takes practice. I've been wearing compression stockings since late 2016 and putting them on was difficult at first. Now I can put them on quickly and correctly almost every time. I expect it to be the same with these arm sleeves.

I had another brand previously, and in these freezing temperatures, I wear a jacket most of the day at work, and my sleeves would slide down with the other brand, but not with this one
5/5

They were uncomfortable tight at first, then got looser and are still tight, but the comfortable kind of tight. I'd rather have that thing that rolls up under a jacket or moves with movement, that would be BLITZ U. No wonder they aren't around anymore, they're garbage. These are fantastic because they alleviate all of your aches and pains when you work a 14-hour shift, as we all do.
