To be honest, I have no idea. When cut, it does not appear that they will unravel. My response is based on the type of material that has been used.
In relation to what is depicted in the image. Unless you have a dark sun tan, it will be a shade darker than tan and not flesh tone. If you're old enough, you'll remember how nylons used to look.
It would, I suppose, depend on the arm's size. Mine are fairly short and end just above the elbow.
They're thin, so if there's a lot of pressure (like a bite), they won't be able to prevent bruises. Scratches and light pressure are not a problem with this product.

These are very easy to put on and take off. I'm constantly tearing the skin on the tops of my hands and arms. I'm hoping that these will help me avoid bruising and tears. So far, I haven't had any encounters with them. The only way to find out is to wait. The thickness appears to be the perfect amount.
My husband has extremely thin skin that bruises and cracks easily, so I purchased these sleeves for him. This purchase has satisfies both of us. The sleeves are thick enough to keep you warm but not so thick that they become uncomfortable. They correspond to the specifications. In the future, I intend to buy from this company.
After my wife wore them for three weeks, I really liked them for skin protection. Her thumb and index finger skin has been red and almost raw for four days. The thumb hole is too small, causing discomfort; I cut the seam there to relieve her discomfort, but I think I've ruined them now that the cut has started to run. I simply wanted to provide feedback to the supplier so that they could investigate the issue. My wife is a small 5'1" woman who weighs less than 120 pounds. I like them in general, but I'm disappointed that they've caused her to develop sores on her thumb.
Every day, my husband takes Coumadin, as well as a dozen other medications. He's 70 years old, and his skin is fragile; he's been bruising or having skin tears at the slightest bump against something, and he's been looking like a band-aid salesman. WOW, I got these for him. What a lucky break. For two pairs, this is a fantastic price. One pair should be worn while the other should be washed.
I have average-sized arms (5'8", 165 pounds), so I had to cut slits in the elastic to make them more comfortable. I like how soft they are to the touch, but they are still uncomfortable and itchy to wear for long periods of time, so I only wear them when I'm going to do something where I might be vulnerable to harm. I'm still glad I ordered them. Order a size larger than you think you'll require.
They're way too tight at the top, and the fabric easily wears out and pilled. It would be preferable if they were shorter and did not have any finger holes. They'd be a lot better if they weren't so tight at the top. They are expensive in comparison to how quickly they become ratty and worn. I bought the biggest ones, but they were still too small for my elderly parents' skinny arms. Wearing it for an extended period of time is too uncomfortable.
I am 65 years old and have become aware of how bad my arms appear due to bumps, scratches, and skin tearing. These were discovered by me and have proven to be extremely effective in preventing the aforementioned problems.
When I ordered them, it was to keep me from scratching my scared arm. Because of the low price, I assumed that this item would not work or fit (BOY WAS I WRONG). They were not only comfortable, but also extremely durable. I was even more surprised that I received two pairs for this price, as I had only expected one. br> I'm a big guy who works in building maintenance, and they've kept my arms safe.
