Questions & Answers
They are made in Mansfield, Massachusetts, in the United States. They were a blessing in disguise, as they helped us get through a horrific injury that required six months of wrapping.
The largest size is 8" X 10" with a 3279 produce code.
There are no adhesive strips on them.
Tells, as far as I'm aware, should not be used on burns. I have a massive venous ulcer that necessitates the use of three Tefla pads every day. Without the pads, I would have been unable to function.

They aren't absorbent in any way! Not all of the reviews make sense to me. I must be doing something wrong, because this thing is completely covered in PLASTIC, as stated on the website: "Bonded on both sides with perforated non-adhesive non-woven non-woven non-adhesive non-woven It's a self-adherent film that can be cut to any shape without separating. " At the very least, in my opinion - It's beyond me how Amazon (or anyone else) can call this a bandage! In reality, removing (or cutting) the film tears the gauze apart, and I'm not sure why anyone would want plastic against their wound. BEWARE OF THE BUYER: Although Amazon was willing to give me a refund without having to return these, you will be unable to do so if you try to return them through their website. Instead, here's what I'm going to do: br>br>

Worst purchase ever; for a medical product, it should never have arrived blackened with dirt, already opened, and wrapped in the most disgusting plastic wrap possible; it didn't even arrive in a box, talk about unsanitary! Someone counted these and wrapped them in Saran wrap, which appears to be the cheapest method available, and to top it off, I am unable to return this, which is absurd! It'll be thrown away immediately! I wish there was a way for me to give a zero!.
Because we are currently sheltered in place, the burn clinic advised me to order these specific brand pads, which I found on Amazon. The pads came individually wrapped and sealed in the box when I received them in the mail. They're a substantial size. It was simple to unwrap them, and cutting them with scissors was also simple. The pads held up just as well as a full-size pad even after I cut them in half. The pads were adhered to my large burn area using 3M Micropore surgical tape. Cleaning the area, applying a thick layer of prescription burn cream, and then covering with these Covidien non-sterile bandages were all part of my routine. Tape the sticky pads in place. I could then leave the pads and tape in place for a few days without them adhering to the wound until I was ready to clean it and re-dress it. It's time to finish it up. These pads come with my highest recommendation. Next time, I'll make sure to keep these pads on hand.
I had previously purchased another brand, but it was shorter and did not completely conceal my scar. I had to tape together four of that product. Also, while the previous product was adequate, it lacked the flexibility of these. When I returned to my doctor's office for a follow-up, he informed me that the pads had been replaced, and that he had used these exact ones. Thanks to Amazon, I was able to locate them and place an order for them. They're individually wrapped, light, flexible, and long enough to cover the scars' entire surface. They are my favorite. I strongly advise you to purchase them. For 50 pads, it's a good deal.

I bought these in order to save a dollar. I got a 50 percent discount on my regular purchases. That was a huge blunder. The gauze covers are very flimsy, and even if you tape them, they will not come off without ripping the pad. But the worst part for me was that they were unable to breathe. As a result, the skin around my wounds became so maceration that even if I allowed it to dry out, some of it returned to the skin it was supposed to be, but the majority of it was dead tissue that slouched off and made the wound bigger, which was contrary to the goals. I mean, moist wound healing is the goal for wounds, but not to the point where the skin around the wound is lost. Yes, I put a skin barrier around the entire area to prevent it, but it still happened.
My left arm and leg were completely covered in road rash. I was looking for pads that were similar to the ones that the hospital used on my wounds. My hospital used Coviden pads, but I was concerned that, based on other reviews, my box would come open, dirty, and, more painfully, with useless pads. br>br>It turns out the box was opened, but only for the purpose of stuffing it with pads. The pads were sealed in their individual packages and looked almost identical to the ones at the hospital, so it wasn't a retail sealed box. The best part is that it is NON-COMMERCIAL. STICK! br>br>The only difference I noticed was in the pad thickness. They appear to be a little thinner than the ones provided by the hospital, but at this price, you can afford to replace your pads on a regular basis.
I buy these about three times a year because I do a lot of first-aid work. br>br>The packaging appeals to me - When you need something, it's easy to grab. br>br>These are non-adhesive and ideal for wound dressing. I also like how long it is. You can use them whole or cut them to the size you need. br>br>I like the Covidien brand because their products are always as described, and I know I'll get the same high-quality item every time I order them. br>br>I also like their prices because they are always lower than others.
