Questions & Answers
To keep my mask from fogging, I apply this every day. It's particularly effective on the blue disposable masks.
It may not be the stickiest tape for skin, but it stays put all day and night, which is far better than some of the stickiest tape that hurts to remove. This Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape is gentle on the skin and adheres well. It's ideal for skin that's prone to irritation. It also helps that it comes in a dispenser.
The one shown here (as of December 2020) is labeled "gentle tape," and that's exactly what I got (as of December 2020).
This type did not come with a dispenser, and I did not purchase it. I purchased a roll of tape that was loose. However, I believe it can be refilled, just like a regular tape dispenser. However, I am unsure.

I'm a registered nurse who works in a hospital setting. This is a terrible tape. It doesn't stick well at first, but once it's in place, it "melts" into your skin and won't come off without causing severe skin tearing. Any other regular roll of drugstore paper tape has proven to be far superior to this one. This is something I would never purchase or use again.
This soft paper tape is my favorite. This is going to sound strange, but I use the tape to tape my bangs down after washing my hair, so when they are dry, I remove the tape and the bangs stay in place, and the tape is very gentle and does not pull hair out. Hair tape similar to this Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape was something I used to use years ago. Hair tape, I believe, is no longer manufactured. If it is, it is difficult to come by, and it is likely to be more expensive than Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape.
I'm returning it because I only received one of the two rolls listed. Please correct the listing or send both next time; I placed two orders and only received one roll each time.
When I wear masks, this product comes in handy. But there's a problem: I wear glasses, and they're always fogged up. So, after seeing a YouTube video recommending first aid paper like this one, I decided to give it a shot. To be honest, it works and keeps my mask glued to my face; all I had to do was put a small strip over my nose to keep the hot breath air out. It works even when I'm biking, but when I try to remove it, it's super strong and hurts my skin. So, if you're going to use a mask, I recommend using this product, but only a small amount because it's super strong and can be painful to remove.
So much so that my clothes are stuck to the spot where the tape was applied the day before yesterday. I'll have to clean it up with something. I don't want to have to do that every time I use this tape, so I'll have to look for another one.
Note: I only received one pack, despite the fact that the description stated that there would be two. $3 is a small price to pay for peace of mind! This product was purchased to aid in the prevention of skin picking. I apply the tape to the tips of my fingers and leave it on all night. The tape has aided me in reducing the amount of damage to my skin for the most part. I can still feel my skin, but not grab or pick at it, which is fantastic! I can use my touch screen phone and laptop with this tape because it is very thin. I can use my draw pattern to unlock my phone, but not my fingerprints, obviously. With the tape on, I can generally touch things and operate my fingers normally. When I operate my phone, the tape tends to leave some adhesive behind, which I can easily wipe away. I also like that the tape doesn't loosen after a few washes. The tape is gentle on my sensitive skin, and I haven't experienced any irritation as a result of removing it. It's a little tricky to get rid of, and it leaves a sticky residue. However, because the product is designed to stay on for 24 hours, this is acceptable; I usually leave a set on for about 6-hours. 8 hours at night, with a few hours during the day thrown in for good measure. So far, it's been a lifesaver, and I strongly suggest it!.
Patients can easily fog up the phoropter or any lenses during an exam, which slows me down. I'm in optometry school. I purchased this tape so that patients could tape their masks down if they so desired. When you first apply the tape, it is gentle and easy to remove. The hold, however, becomes stronger over time, making it more difficult to release. It appears to be working, but I tried it on myself and discovered that the tape is quite strong and not as gentle as I require for the face. I don't want to cause any harm to my patients, so I'm also experimenting with other tapes and anti-inflammatory medications. Products that produce fog.
The quality is good, but it is shipped open and exposed to grime. This appeared to be less than ideal in terms of wound care. br>br>I received this item in the same manner as if I had purchased it from a store. In most cases, that would suffice. The presentation was excellent - for the purpose of a store display It came in a dispenser with a cardboard tag hanging from it. What was it about this method of delivery that I didn't like? During its storage and shipping, the tape is essentially exposed to dust, dirt, and grime. Because this is for wound care, it just doesn't seem sanitary to me. Why didn't the manufacturer just put it in a box? I bought gauze, bandages, and other medical supplies, all of which came in a box. Because it rips so easily, I don't even need a dispenser. br>br>I'm going to say something. The tape is in reasonable condition. It sticks okay, but not great (I was hoping for something a little more tacky like hospital supplies because I don't think that's sticky enough), and it tears well. Based on the item itself, I give the tape a four-star rating. br>br>Even though it appears to be a good product, I would have bought something else if I hadn't needed it in a hurry; I just don't think it's very clean, and this is for injuries, so my overall impression is meh. I'd buy it again if I could find it in a box, but not in this condition.
