Questions & Answers

Could you please tell me what kind of tape this is? I'd like to find something made entirely of natural fibers. ?

It's made of natural fibers, as far as I can tell. It has a soft cotton texture and is also pre-shrunk. cut to make life easier Is a tape that primarily my area's practitioners use.

Is it possible for this tape to adhere to one's skin?

Although the tape adheres to the skin, removing it is painless. It's a nice tape to listen to.

Is this safe for babies under the age of three months?

It is gentler on the skin than many others, but it still adheres to the skin extremely well. The skin of a baby will be severely damaged. Nexcare Sensitive Skin tape is another product made by 3M. It's a pale blue color. I couldn't find it in bulk packaging, but it's the most gentle on the skin I could find. Another tip is to use cotton swabs soaked in alcohol to loosen the glue on the tape before removing it. Although the skin will eventually dry out, it will be easier to remove.

I'm curious about the origins of the tape. ?

The following is printed on the overwrap packaging: 3M Health Care, St. Paul, Minn., made it in the United States.

Mouth Breathers will love this sleeping solution
5/5

I have OSA and use a CPAP machine to treat it, but I was prescribed a full face mask because I sleep with my mouth open. But I couldn't get used to it, so I decided to try a nasal mask or nasal pillow. To keep my mouth shut while sleeping, I first tried using a chinstrap. However, using this with the nasal pillow strap was too inconvenient, and the neoprene made my skin sweaty where it touched. I then tried using surgical tape to close my mouth, but none of the types I tried stayed on my skin all night. My skin was irritated by the adhesive in some of the products. br>Then I came across a review of this product that described how sticky and non-irritating it was. I used it with CPAP and it worked perfectly! My skin breathes thanks to the mesh construction, and the perforations for easy tearing are fantastic: A two-section piece is ideal for covering my closed mouth. br> And it sticks like a glue. Taking it off in the morning, however, is only marginally unpleasant. I'm very happy with this tape, and while it appears to be expensive at first glance, it's actually quite cost-effective in my application.

AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT WITH AN ADDITIONAL BONUS
5/5

Tape has exceeded my expectations. The tape can easily be torn every 2" for a great price. Because I require 4 inches, I tear it at the second perforation. For the next four weeks, I must clean and bandage the wound twice a day. Paying drugstore prices was becoming prohibitively expensive, especially since I had to cut theirs. Surgery was performed on the face, just above the brow, in a very sensitive area. So that I don't get an infection, I have to be careful about properly protecting the wound. This tape sticks to my skin well and does not irritate it. Before applying tape, it's a good idea to clean the skin with rubbing alcohol and make sure it's completely dry. That's exactly what I'm capable of. Another tip is to gently press down on the tape once it's in place. As a result, the seal is more secure. BONUS YOU MAY NOT HAVE EXPECTED: I'm sure the tape's manufacturer never intended for it to be used in this manner. Before putting containers in the refrigerator or freezer, I label them with one square and a marking pen. It really works. I tried a few things, including labels for that purpose, but they didn't work. Packaging tape works, but it's a pain to get rid of when cleaning the container. It's simple to get rid of this tape. Before placing in the fridge, tape must be applied to a dry container. On cold, damp containers, it does not work.

While it isn't perfect and may take some time to get used to, I have found it to be useful
5/5

My skin has become extremely sensitive as a result of chemo, a stem cell transplant, and graft v host disease. The adhesive in surgical tape tears my skin apart, and even paper tape can do the same if pulled off with force. Finally, on Amazon, I discovered 3M's medicare tape. While it isn't perfect and can take some getting used to, I am much more likely to cause no or minimal damage to my skin when it is removed. br>br>Here are a few pointers:
- Don't use scissors because the tape will get stuck between the blades and you'll end up wasting your money. The tape is perforated, but the perforations are difficult to see. To get a usable piece of tape, you must tear it across the perforations.
- To remove the Mdeipore from your skin, do not rub it with alcohol. The alcohol will thwart 3M's promise of easy removal. Simply pull it away from your skin as gently as possible. If you have someone to help you, have them pull your skin so that there is no loose skin around the removal site, which will make it easier to remove the tape.

If you have sensitive skin, make the following changes to your routine
5/5

It's incredible. I sleep with my mouth taped because otherwise I keep waking up because it keeps opening. It also prevents me from drying out at night and waking up with a throat so dry that I can't swallow. As a result, I've been experimenting with different types of tape for sensitive skin. So far, I've only found two types that work, this being one of them. br>br>In addition to not causing an allergic reaction, it is designed with small air holes to prevent sweating and the rot of your skin beneath it. I don't leave any traces of my presence, either. You only need a tiny piece, so even though three rolls were sent, I've been using the first one every day for over a month and have barely used any of it, so it's very cost effective. br>br>Because it is a strong adhesive, removing it can be difficult; however, pulling it off has never resulted in any damage, and I certainly notice it on some days more than others. The advantages are so great that I strongly advise you to try it.

I've found the softest and most durable cloth tape
5/5

For my elderly mother, this is the only tape I'll use. It's gentle on her skin, but it sticks to the surgical pads I use on her feet, ankles, and lower legs for sores and blisters. You must be cautious because it adheres to itself even more. It's nearly impossible to undo if it adheres to itself. Most of the time, I have to start from scratch with a new strip. Because the perferations are spaced at 1" intervals, you don't lose as much top to waste and they separate easily. The rolls are the perfect size for one-handed handling. handed. Overall, this is the softest yet most durable tape I've ever come across. I am not going to use anything else.

or a five-pack of name-brand tapes that were a complete waste of money
5/5

I've gone through at least four or five name-brand tapes that were a complete waste of money. My Achilles surgery has left me with a chronic wound on my heal, and I need to keep it clean. This tape has stayed with me in the shower and adheres extremely well, even in the difficult heal area. You must peel this tape off even if it has been wet. The name-brand tape would curl and come loose. That reminds me, this tape keeps my bandage in place while I sleep, whereas I have to use a sock to keep the others in place. I strongly advise you to do so.
