Yes, it will cling to the inside of your stomach. The tape is excellent in my opinion, which explains the higher price. The roll is set up so that you can rip off pre-cut strips (approximately 1 1/2 inches wide) or do it in multiple sheets. They're connected and will stay that way for as many strips as you want. It was once wrapped around my leg and stayed there for three days. The tape is durable, does not irritate my skin, and adheres to hard surfaces such as my toes. I even put it to the test on the addomen for you. It's been on for 12 hours and not a single edge has peeled away. I believe you will benefit from this. I wish you luck.
This tape isn't strong enough to support the kneecap, in my opinion. It's useful for keeping bandages in place over a wound, but I wouldn't use it for support.
Made in the United States of America from materials sourced all over the world. That is, according to the packaging.

However, when carefully removed, it comes off with ease. It's fantastic! Almost all medical tapes do not last longer than 15 minutes on my skin. It will take 20 minutes. The few that do are usually thick and awkward - Trying to bandage myself with Gorilla tape is akin to that. For me, the 3M Medipore H is the ideal solution. The letter "H" in the name is crucial - For me, plain Medipore tape doesn't work as well. You won't have to look for your scissors because Medipore H is perforated at regular intervals. It's extremely soft and thin, but it sticks incredibly well. It's thin enough to allow you to take a deep breath. Although the adhesive can withstand minor water exposure, this is not a waterproof tape. This tape holds my bandages securely in place even after several days. When it's time to remove the tape, it'll come off easily if you take your time and pull slowly and gently. It has evolved into a "go to" resource for all things related to health and wellness. Nowadays, medical tape is used for a variety of purposes. Give Medipore H a try if your skin also appears to repel medical tape.
This is of very high quality. The material – Tape, for example, has a certain amount of stretch. Its ability to stretch with movement makes it ideal for dressings in areas where movement is expected. Furthermore, it is much gentler on the skin than silk-based products, especially for those with sensitive skin. such as tape The simplest tape for frail or sensitive skin is paper tape, but it doesn't hold up nearly as well as this tape. Simply hold the skin securely in one hand and gently pull the tape away from the direction of the hand that is holding/securing the skin when removing it from thin/frail skin. This will prevent tearing of the skin when removing the tape, and it should be used with any type of tape or bandage dressing on those with frail or thin skin.
If you're like me and find that most medical tapes come off too easily, 3M Medipore tape is for you. This stuff lasts a long time when properly prepped with rubbing alcohol, but it also lasts without it. I've used it for a variety of personal medical reasons, including:
- Medications are applied to the skin in the form of patches. For me, it lasts much longer than Tegaderm-style covers.
- securing gauze and dressings over wounds, particularly in unusual locations such as my elbowbr>- slapping a bandaid over a peeling bandaid, lolbr>br>I've also heard from a friend that Medipore is great for adding extra security to things like Picc lines, feeding tubes, and the like, because it clings tightly to the skin even when it starts to peel unless purposefully ripped away. Getting rid of skin oils is crucial to making any bandage last, so don't skip it! Isopropyl alcohol is a good friend of yours.
I went through at least ten different brands of tape before finding Medipore H. They'd fall off like dead leaves two or three hours after they'd been put in place. Adhesion is a nightmare. I think I spent at least $100 on it. After spending over $100 on various brands of tape with the same result, I decided to try Medipore H. I was astonished and delighted at the same time! This type of tape would stay put indefinitely and come off easily when I cleaned my wound. You've come to the right place. There isn't another tape like it! This is the genuine article! This brand of hospital-grade tape comes highly recommended by me to anyone looking for the best.
It's been over a year since she got it. Because she is bedridden due to a tpn and unable to lose weight, she has a lot of skin divets. This tape is AMAZING. We use osto bond glue, a two-piece bag system, eakin barrier rings, paste, stoma powder, and skin prep spray, followed by a 5-minute blow dryer session per ostomy nurse. I was desperate a few months ago and ordered this tape because the process takes us 40 minutes. We had to change the wafer five to eight times a day because it wouldn't stay on. We keep mitts on her to keep her warm while she sleeps, so she isn't pulling it off like we had hoped. We still have major issues with her skin, dementia, and weight gain on occasion (please pray for her). Her wafer is usually kept on for two days with this tape. It allows us to wear the wafer for up to 6 hours on bad days; give it a try! I doubt you'll be disappointed, and it works beautifully with stoma powder on broken, macerated skin.
Medipore surgical tape from 3M is by far my favorite, and I recently had a pre-surgery procedure. The cancerous skin was removed and Vitamin E was applied for several days to the affected area. The doctor prescribed bandages to cover the wound, but my skin became red after a few days. I had previously used 3M Medipore surgical tape, so I switched to this to avoid skin irritation around the surgical area. To avoid skin irritation, I strongly advise using this tape.
Me & My mother and I had both had surgeries that necessitated the use of tape to keep the wound dressings in place. We went through 3 gallons of water. There were four different types of medical tape that were causing severe itching, chaffing, and skin irritation. We finally found one that stuck well, didn't itch or chafe, and was easy to remove. This tape has made me very happy and grateful. Furthermore, it is perforated every inch or so, allowing you to tear off as much or as little as you require. It's actually pretty cool. I would strongly suggest it.
reaction- skin that is prone to irritation! I've been on the lookout for tape that won't give me a rash, and I think I've found it! I'm in ecstasy right now. I've spent over $40 on tapes from local drugstores, but this one is the softest and stickiest, and my skin hasn't screamed at me yet. Nothing is more frustrating than paying $8 for a roll of papertape that doesn't adhere. It's a real pain. When changing bandages with one arm, being precut comes in handy. What an added bonus for me because I had no idea they were precut pieces!.
