According to my understanding, it depends on how tall the child is at age 5. There is a 4 year old in the family who is too short to play with his 7 and 10 year old brothers. The ball is always hit over his head, so he is extremely frustrated. However, it is different for every child, so it may not bother your child at all.
Putting this out late, sorry about that. It just came to my attention. Due to the fact that the bottom of the pole is flat, it should be used with the base. A hole that's deep enough could be dug and the pipe put The bottom of some models may be corkscrew-shaped. My sincere hope is that this helps.
It is definately not too old to be 12. The game will keep older kids and adults entertained for hours. The two of us have spent a lot of time together.
Is 53" tall

This is the perfect gift for my son. In a nutshell As we are all quarantined together, my son is unable to attend tennis lessons, so I decided to get this so we can play outside. He absolutely This kit is very easy to assemble. I appreciate that there are paddle handles on it, so we do not With water in it, I put it in my backyard, and it is sooooo easy to transport. Our family went to the beach this past weekend, and our kite was with us. With sand in it, it made sense. We were the envy of everyone on Our kids kept asking us where we got it from all the parents with kids around. In addition, they were eager to play with my son, but I had to refuse them, and keep them at a (Even some older kids want to know how to play. Having so much fun was too much. Currently, I think my kid really enjoys it more on the beach, so he can dive and fall on the sand. He loves the beach.
This is a great product for entertaining my kids, as well as myself, when we are out and about. Kids from the neighborhood even came by to play because it is conducive to current social distance My concern with this is that the bottom, the foundation, is not very solid. poll does not remain firmly in place as the clips and the base are made of plastic. If you don't put the plastic clips away carefully, then they will easily fall off and disappear from the game, and without them, you won't be able to play it. Icons of this product are somewhat flimsy at the bottom, making it rather pricey. In the end, I paid what I paid due to shelter in place requirements and my desperate need to keep my children entertained!.
In order to prevent it from getting wet, I bring it in. In general, this equipment is easy to set up and it can sometimes be moved to shady spots in the yard. One minus is that the plastic buckles attaching the base to the top of the base are difficult to secure and are easily removed when used. That's why I'm glad I didn't cut the plastic loops that attach the buckles. The snap box base wasn't sturdy enough for my large patio umbrella, so I used a weighted patio umbrella base instead.
Essentially a hybrid of a tennis ball and a tether ball, Swingball is a game for children. Upon a toy store employee's suggestion, we decided to give swingball a try. We have always talked about playing tether ball and tennis with our son, but he prefers screen time. A toy we wanted to give him would not only encourage him to play outside, but would also help with his hand eye coordination and exercise. Aside from being anxious about social situations, he likes to be solitary most of the time. Despite this, swingball has encouraged him to bring others to play with him. In one year, we went from encouraging our children to go outside to having to tell them 20 times that dinner was ready! Playing doesn't seem to end for them. It wasn't hard to setup, but I had to fill it with water at first. I bought a 50-pound bag of sand instead of buying a snow blower because I was expecting freezing temperatures. Transporting the base while it's full should be done with caution. It has been necessary to re-seat one clip several times because they are not the strongest. Doesn't take away from the value of this set Purchasing this pro version if you're buying it for children is a good idea. The fun can begin! Sturdy and allow you to participate! It is important that we extend our gratitude to the manufacturer!.
I got this to replace my old one that I bought when my kids were younger, thinking that it was more suited to adults. My kids prefer the blue paddled one because the paddles are thicker and it's the same thing, but the paddles are thicker. Are those thicker paddles meant to make the puck harder to hit Be sure to leave the original in place. Regardless of the difference in performance, it is just as good.
It doesn't get any better than that, does it? To choose an outside toy for your child, there are a few things you need to consider. The first thing that it must have is an easy assembly, which this is, so that the kids can get started right away. You can fill the base with water (or sand if you prefer, but water is definitely easier so you can drain it and move it to a new location more easily) and snap the rods together, and it is ready to go. The second requirement is that it must be engaging and encourage some This was a win in both of those categories! The event was fun for all ages (9 and 10 years old to adults). The only thing you have to be aware of is not getting It is extremely easy to have that It was a great choice in the end.
It took me many years to get rid of the kids' version of this game. I was looking for a good kids' version and this one worked out better. Despite the fact that the height is taller and the base is much stronger, I like it. A longer spiral appears at the top of the spiral. As well as the racket holder on the pole, I like it. Buying this item is a great choice. All members of my family, young and old, love me!.
There is no doubt that it is a well-made toy, and both adults and kids love it. The weight does definitely have to be put on it for it We never really use the travel case aspect of it since we rarely travel. My husband and I just leave it setup in our backyard. I do have rocks we have that we put in gallon size storage bags though to weigh it down. We can take them out so that they won't create a mess and if we need to move the container, they can be easily removed. It was unboxed and put together without issue by a teenage boy, so I didn't have to spend a lot of time on it.
