The air pump in this product works well, and I bought it specifically for my dogs, so I can play with them outdoors. It comes with a pretty standard air pump. The process of putting it up and airing it was easy. I regrettably find that my dogs do not play very much with it, but that is not the fault of the product. Is hung up on the tree until I can use it. You won't have any issues with it losing air or the rope failing to hold up.
In addition to sending out emails about tetherball, the company is very proactive about the topic. Playing with the toy was a lot of fun for our grandchildren. In the majority of cases, after being outside for a day, the ball began to change color. As soon as a ladder is used, it is impossible to get on it again to take it down. Using a white tee shirt, I folded it in half and sew a draw string in the neck. When the ball is not in use, the cover covers it.
This ball is excellent to replace the original. I like how it comes with a ball pump and that the needle fits right inside the handle of the pump. *Be careful not to make the same mistake as I did last year, by purchasing a ball with a rope connection that does not let you simply replace the rope (I go through rope more quickly). My last ball was still in great shape. Nevertheless, the knotted rope could not be simply replaced because of how the ball was inserted in the hole. I hate it. I like this one because it is very well made and you can easily put in new rope through.
I have no doubt this tetherball will last. However, when we connected it, the joke was don't hit your head or you might fall out of the game. As I recall, my son renamed it bowling because it felt like the ball was being used like I ended up returning it since they stopped playing with it right away. A Lifetime ball we had ended up losing its connection with the tether at the end of the summer, so we purchased this replacement.
We still think it's a bit too challenging for our 3-year-old, but we'll see how she fares over time. The pump and needle came with it, which made me like it a lot.
Tether ball is his preferred form of exercise. He is 67 years old. You have done a very good job.
Don't waste your money on this if you're going to use it for a dog. As soon as I brought him home, he got his tooth stuck in it. If you are not using it for people, then it is not recommended. The ad states that dog owners should use it. Not at all.
While we have not had the ball for very long as yet, it is proving to be fantastic so far. I couldn't rate the durability yet so I opted for 4 stars until after we get more time with it. It may not last forever, but if you find it engaging and feel the joy when you hit a ball, I believe it will.
