Don't throw your money away. After a single game, here are some pictures of the damage. These balls had been dented and destroyed halfway through a game. This is a complete waste of time. Not to mention that the bag stinks so bad because it is made of chemically plastic that it has filled my entire house with a foul odor.

I bought this and played it with my teenage daughters and husband while camping over the weekend. We had problems with what was sent to us before we even started playing, which I didn't realize until we were already on our way. When we put the mallets together, we discovered that we had received two yellow and two red handles but no green or purple handles, resulting in two mismatched mallets. Several of the balls had large semi-circle divots in them (as if they'd been smashed with a metal mallet), and one even had a bubble next to the divot, making the balls uneven - Before we even played a single game, the balls looked like this. I had high hopes for this set based on the reviews, but it turns out to be a low-cost (but not low-cost $) plastic set with poor quality control. If you're buying it for young children to play with, this is the set to get; otherwise, I'd spend the extra money on a nicer wooden set with better balls. The longer handles were a nice touch, and the colors were definitely pretty. It also came with a great bag that fit everything perfectly, earning this set the two stars I gave it.

This set has a nice height for the mallets, as well as nice balls and wickets, and I chose it because of all the positive reviews. However, when we played it for the first time last night, the blue mallet split in half, so I'm not sure how good the wood in my set was. I've been trying to find a way to contact the company, but all I have is a phone number, and I haven't had a chance to call and see what can be done, but with all the positive feedback, I'm guessing mine was just a defective mallet?.

We went outside to play right away after I opened the set. I was surprised to notice indentations in the balls after less than an hour of play because the mallets had hit them. The diameter of the mallet heads (and the balls) appears to be a little smaller than I recall from previous sets I've played with.

I recently purchased this item, and while it looks great and has some cool features, it also has some flaws. The mallet's grip is a nice feature, but it came undone the first time I used it. The mallet heads also unscrew as you strike the ball, so you might need to use wood glue. My most recent disappointment is that the balls have dents in them after only one game. I was very excited to receive this set after reading all of the reviews because our family loves to play croquet. I like the colors in this set, and it appears to be more well-made than many of the others we've had; however, I wish it was a little better.

The mallets are adult length, but our 11-year-old found them to be very useful, and they have a nice leather finish. ish wrap around the tops of the handles for added grip, and they're strong. The balls have a nice heft to them when hitting the ground, just like croquet balls should! Even the carry bag is made of a good quality light canvas material. Webbing that will almost certainly last for many years of travel! br>br>While the product itself is of excellent quality, my experience with GoSports customer service is deserving of a sixth star! As with any mass-produced item, there is the possibility of a manufacturing defect, and our set unfortunately had one, in which one of the mallet heads was cracked lengthwise with the grain, which disappointed my wife because she loved the set and wanted it to be in working order for our family. When I contacted Amazon customer service, they were gracious enough to offer a refund or a replacement set, but only after I returned the entire set. But I got the set in time for my wife's birthday party (which was a huge success thanks in part to this croquet set!). ), which meant the mallet heads had to be covered in grass stains. a variety of balls causing the set to become inaccessible it is possible to return it So. These days, mediocre (at best) customer service is the norm. This was far beyond my expectations. beyond! Thank you very much, GoSports. In the future, I'll keep an eye out for your brand on sporting goods!.
