This is a great game for kids. I enjoyed myself as well. The balls are different sizes, but it's a game, so it's not a big deal. The children were either unaware of or unconcerned about what was going on. I did set it up first to make sure everything was in order and that I knew how to do it. It was easier to inflate because I had my own pump. I'm glad I went ahead and purchased it.
Assembly was simple, and the balls are soft and appear to be of low quality. After one round, the kids decided they didn't want to play any more.
This was given to me as a present. The ball exploded and performed admirably!.
Excellent game.
It's a hit with the grandchildren; however, it could use a few more balls.
This appeared to be a fun idea and a way to help the kids burn off some energy, and it is in some ways. I mean, I like the concept, and it's a decent set overall, but there are a few things I don't care for. The balls and the pump, for starters, had a strange greasy feel to them. I'm not sure if there was some kind of lubricant in the pump that leaked out and got all over it, but that doesn't explain why the balls (which were in their own plastic casing) had a greasy coating on them. It's not a major issue, but it is distracting. When the first time you take them out, they feel slimy, put them back in. The pump was also something I didn't care for. It's about as low-cost as it gets. Because it didn't come with a needle (which is hidden in the handle part of the pump), I initially assumed it wouldn't work, but it does. We chose to use a bike pump we had in the garage because it was more convenient and effective. Apart from that, the kit is appealing to me. The hoops are made up of three pieces of plastic pipe that are connected. That way, you can disassemble them when you're done, and they'll fit into a smaller/better space. I was worried I'd kink the pipes when trying to make an arch because they're like a slightly flexible pvc pipe, but everything turned out perfectly. Maybe I was more afraid because they were cold from sitting outside in November in Colorado. It would probably be more flexible if it were warmer. The course is simple to set up in any reasonably sized field, or you can live life on the edge like us and make up your own. In the end, I think it's entertaining, but I believe it's a little too long. For what you get, the price is reasonable. I deducted one star for the greasy texture and poor pump quality, and I deducted another star because I would expect a product like this to cost between $20 and $30. Tops of the range are in the $25 range, and the bottoms are in the $30 range. However, because Amazon delivers to your door, you must decide for yourself whether it is worthwhile. Enjoy!.
Although it was a cute idea, it did not work out as planned. Our grandkids, who are homeschooling this year, needed some outdoor activities. We're attempting to include a few activities that necessitate teamwork and athleticism. br>br>Included in this kit are: br>* 6 Croquet Wicketsbr>* Finish Flagbr>* Two 12-inch Croquet Wicketsbr>* Two 12-inch Croquet Wicketsbr>* Two 12-inch Croquet Wicketsbr inch Kick Croquet Balls (inflatable plastic balls)br>br>Everything was included in the package, and setup was a breeze. Croquet wickets are made of plastic tubes with plastic tips on both ends. The tube is bent and placed in the ground. This is when I started to get concerned. The sharp plastic ends have the appearance of small spheres. We tried to play a game with the kids, and they enjoyed it. They tried to kick the balls through the wickets, but it was too difficult, so we realized it's more like soccer, where they just bump it with their feet and take small steps. The situation began to improve. br>br>After a while, the little guys became too frustrated, so we made up another game with the balls. They resemble croquet balls on steroids, by the way. They're inflated and made of plastic, but they look like croquet balls from a distance. br>br>We recommend using the set for any game you can think of. Croquet is a game that should be played by older children.
