The mallets will no longer fit in the bag unless the heads are removed as of June 2021. I haven't seen any photos of that, so if it's important to you, you'll have to keep it separate.
We received this at the end of August 2020, played it a few times, and then stored it for the winter. We got it out in June 2021, and after about three times of playing, one of the mallets broke. Because the 60-day warranty had expired, they refused to refund or replace the item. When I inquired about purchasing a mallet, they informed me that they were only available to customers whose items were still under warranty. I offered to buy them a mallet, but they declined. When I contacted Amazon, they responded with an email requesting a refund. They sent me the same letter stating that the warranty had expired, and Amazon responded with the same letter. I'm disappointed because I no longer have a complete set, and if I want one, I'll have to buy a new one. This is a company you should avoid buying from.

My wife and I were looking for something to do outside with friends that was socially distanced, and we thought croquet would be a good fit. This set was purchased as an introductory set to see how we liked the game, and it has proven to be a great success. We've used it a half dozen times in the last month and left it outside for several days (when it wasn't raining), and it's still in great shape and performing admirably. During the pandemic, I would recommend this set to anyone who wants to try croquet as a pastime.
2 mallets cracking with wood splitting when the ball is hit, and adults have only used it 3 times. Mallets must not be used in a rough or abusive manner. Very dissatisfied.
This is a low-cost, light-weight set that, with proper care, could last quite a long time. It isn't built to last. However, because of the low price and appealing design and finish, I gave it four stars overall. The mallets are very light, and I don't think they'll hold up to a lot of use. Wooden threads run through the handle and head. There is no sleeve made of metal or plastic. The heads will need to be tightened on a regular basis. The handle could be glued to the head to fix this. The wickets are flimsy and prone to being bent. These, on the other hand, can be swapped out. The mallet heads' end caps are made of plastic rather than rubber, as advertised. br>br>The 32" mallet handles are longer than those found in other sets, making them more appropriate for adult use. The set is polished to a high standard. Overall, it's a good buy that's also enjoyable to use. I'd recommend it for casual recreational purposes.
I purchased this item at the end of last summer. And it was only released at the start of the year. As a result, we've only had a few opportunities to play. The mallets were broken, and one of them had broken. I informed the seller of the situation. They stated that nothing could be done because the warranty had expired after 60 days. I inquired about purchasing a mallet, but they informed me that they reserve them for customers who respond within the 60-day period. I contacted Amazon several times, and they emailed the seller, but I received the same response each time. This is a product that I would not buy again.

The hitting surface had a diameter of about 2 inches. I would have preferred Mallets with a diameter of 3 inches. I'm going to look up better instructions on the internet because their one-page instructions for 9 and 6 hoop games were inadequate. I'm hoping that the set will last for a long time.
The Crocket sticks are a fantastic product that is well-made and easy to put together. The colors are stunning, and we had a blast playing.
It's simple to put together and of good quality. The only thing I would change is that the wickets are a little thin, which makes pushing them into the ground a little difficult.
