Trying to be concise, but I can't say enough good things about this model SAK
5/5

Knives in this design are available both in the Wenger design and in this Victorinox hybrid It appears that Victorianox and Wenger have both produced this model since they acquired each other some years ago. There are no exceptions to the rule The name of the brand is embedded in the bottom of the scales on the Wenger model. In case you are wondering, they are not just stick figures These sensors are built into handles and grips of surfaces that have a grippy texture There is no visible gap between the warden scales and the tops. Whether you're facing the berries or the other way around, the feel is the same. It is simply outstanding in terms of ergonomics. Out of the 7 SAKs that I own, this model is my absolute favorite at the moment. There is no difference in size or shape between the Wenger and Victorinox models The Victorinox is the same weight and had the same tool set, but I like the design The first thing that stands out is how fantastic it looks and feels. I think the lighting is the culprit for the yellow not being as "bright" as in the pictures. advantage of this product is that it includes all the best of the original Wenger tools (the company that designed and produced it) as well as the best of Victorinox tools wherever they would be an improvement. Here, I will digress a moment to say that, when speaking generally, the Victorinox tools are, in my opinion I like that. However, this is not the case 100% of the time, and Wenger tools do outperform the competition in some cases. The Victorinox tool was used wherever it was better and more efficient in this particular model. It remained Wenger's design wherever he got it right. A rundown of this week's events To the right On the Wenger model, the awl/reamer is just a pointy spike that is unsharpened. I don't think this would work, although the Victorinox has the eyelet, is sharpened, and has a hollow grind on one side. The Victorinox reamer is a far better tool, and that In addition to being sharper, the Wenger toothpicks are also shorter and If you use tweezers, it may not be as clear, but using a Wenger is never a problem The welded and the welded There is no plastic tip on this pen. I can't tell which side will win this, but I think the Wenger might win if the tip is the only thing connecting both sides on the Victorinox. With the plastic tip, it is much easier to get the tip out and to handle the product. Victorinox also places their location (on all models, as far as I know) on the outside of the scale. While I believe the scales are easier to access from there, I understand why those who prefer the Wenger design may feel it preserves more of the round edges Both the designs and location that I prefer on this model have been replaced by Victorinox versions. As for the type of saw, it's still a Wenger, and the tip has a downward drop that might help prevent the blade from pulling out the whole way as you're cutting. It's probably both an advantage and a disadvantage, but the difference is so slight that it doesn't really matter to me. There was no change to the actual Wenger main blade, but the cutting length has been slightly extended due to the belly of the blade. As with the saw, it is too small a difference to be accounted for. In any case, if I thought about it at all, it would be a plus. The steel is, I believe, the same material. The blade locks, unlike some [possibly all] Victorinox models in this size category. The way you do that is fantastic. There is a non-alcoholic version of their product The version with a locking mechanism, the 18-key version The "push" will not bother everyone, but some will be bothered by it I understand why people object to the button-style release, but I have absolutely no problem with it after having tested it for several weeks now. The flat head screwdriver is an example as well. Unlike most other designs, the Wenger design comes with an internal lock. A spring slightly moves the blade on a tight screw when you push hard on it when you're really bearing down. In it is a recess for a lock that engages the knife. You won't have to worry about it closing. Press firmly and it will lock on its own. It's a very slick design by Wenger. The can opener is last on the list It is for no valid reason that I prefer the cut-off Away from you- In regards to- The Victorinox model is designed by you. Having/using it has always been what I do. Any of the two will work fine, I've tested them both. My preference for Victorinox is purely personal, but there is another reason for my preference My opinion is that the following trade-off is more important With the Wenger can opener, you can also use it as a box cutter It has very good ability to cut cargo tape and open boxes perfectly with a single It's really handy to have a second blade, or something of the sort This blade isn't honed to a fine edge, but it is good for this kind of application. The two-word phrase in English is "two-word phrase The tools include This opener is one of the Wenger can openers. On the other hand, the Victorinox can opener also has a tiny flathead screwdriver built in, but it also doubles as a phillips screwdriver. The three-letter word is "three-" The tools include The Victorinox has "one" for it. As a Victorinox fan, I also think that Victorinox wins there, and I'm glad that the Victorinox model replaced the old Wenger one. During the course of replacing this model, at least four tools were replaced with Victorinox versions. The scissors I didn't notice them My preference is for the Wenger design, which was kept. Compared to the previous model, the spring is stronger and the blades are micro-faceted I am serrating. It's not until you go to cut a cable tie that you realize the serrations are an issue. As soon as he is near a slipperier thing, the Wenger grasps onto it. It is sort of "pushy" with the Victorinox. There is no doubt about it. way, it will cut the paper, but I give the advantage to Wenger here and, as I said, it is also being kept. The scales, whose shape (according to my memory) belongs to Wenger, aren't mentioned here. Having the shape and inlays in the right place creates a wonderful ergonomic feel. It would be nice to have the scales match exactly with the tools on the bottom like the rest of my Victorinox knives, but I can live with the small overlap to get the rest of the awesomeness of the Wenger grip (a redesign used in several Victorinox patterns, overlap inclusive). You can still purchase this knife in the all-metal version The hybrid Victorinox designed by Wenger includes a Wenger mechanism and a Victorinox design also The branded model is available. I decided to go with it and I think I made the right decision for all the reasons I just listed. A second small blade instead of the nail file would have been better, as neither one has the file. In spite of this, the tip of the nail file is useful to use as a #1 2D Phillips driver when needed. As well as prying apart molded plastic parts without dulling my knife blade, I used it for prying apart metal parts. I know what you dads know who like to tear open toy battery covers. This knife, together with my others, now serves as my EDC (Every Day Carry) knife for the workweek. In slacks or pants, it is very easy to carry. During the weekend, when I'm wearing jeans or cargo shorts with thicker fabrics and deeper pockets, and not driving a great deal where I need to worry about fabric pulling tight on my legs, I still opt for the indentations of my Hercules model. In short, I absolutely love this model and heartily recommend it to anyone looking for "the one" Swiss Army Knife to carry around with them. If you don't intend to use the saw, the S16 is the same model without it. I live in the sticks and also use a saw, so I advise the S16. You can expect it to be a little thinner and lighter The lighter version is also available in a non-flammable version The 16th version of the locking mechanism has been released. As a whole, I highly recommend the S18 (or 16), and I would probably pick up the Victorinox first. 3 Even though I own several SAKs, this is still my favorite and would be the last to give up if I had to surrender them one at a time. I currently carry my Explorer model at the office, as I find it's more appropriate for that Even so, I still feel that the S18 has the best over-all product If I was constrained to only one SAK, I'd want to use the 'all' tool set. Despite a few minor scratches, the rubber grips have always held up nicely. There has never been too much of a problem with reliability. I believe the same holds true for all my SAKs. That is a testament to the company. I keep my S18 in my pocket virtually every weekend, and even more often. There is nothing but use for it except for routine sharpening (ceramic rod) and occasional oiling. I still recommend this model with the strongest of convictions.

A Victorinox product does not have the quality
3/5

The knives on this set are nice, but lack the typical quality of Victorinox knives. The blade of this Swiss Army Knife locks, which is an exceptional feature. One thing I noticed as soon as I received it was that the wood cutting blade contacted the blade guard lining between them as I closed the knife. . . . but why should I have to do that? (I can correct this by pulling the blade to the correct side when closed. thinking that it was merely a fluke, and Amazon sent another with the same problem. Victorinox confirmed that this wasn't normal and so I reached out to them. I was offered to receive it for free, but I had to pay to ship it to them AND pay another $5 to get it fixed. To get it back, you will have to pay the $20. 00 return shipping fee. Victorinox has completely failed in this regard. A manufacturer produces a knife incorrectly, and they expect the buyer to pay for the shipping fees to fix it. In addition to this, the scissors are inoperable as well. I would not recommend buying this knife if you plan on spending over $10. It is totally unacceptable for a brand new product. If you want a properly working knife, you will need to pay $5. 00 more than the listed price.

A Victorinox Red that does not meet industry standards
3/5

Between this knife and the standard red Victorinox knife, there are a few differences. For instance, this knife is between 1/4 and 3/8 inch shorter than the standard red Victorinox knife Unlike the original one, this one has only one blade and the small one has been replaced with a nail file and the texture is much different, too. The differences in these features are personal preferences, and have no real effect on the performance of the knife. There are a few problems with the knife, 1). Due to the angle at which the lanyard anchor is mounted, the anchor point digs into the palm of my hand. There is only one solution I need to grind the ring off with my Dremal tool. 1) The outermost separators, on which the scales are mounted, are too wide compared to the layers in the center. results in rough edges on the back of the knife. 3) The blade lock release is poorly located, preventing easy access to the scissors and causing me to break my thumbnail every time I want to open it. as thick as the blade on the standard red knife. It is not a problem in and of itself, but I worry that it will break if dropped.

This is perfect for me, as it has every tool that I would use every day
5/5

Because it is well-constructed and precisely the right size, it can be carried in my pocket without feeling bulky at all. This is a great knife for everyday use, but the only thing I would change is the nail file in place of a small blade. Otherwise I find it quite satisfactory for everyday.

The best will be put to the test
5/5

As an example of a similar product I have, the metal of the other version bent when I used it to open a small door that required a common screw driver. This was not a happy time for me. used this Swiss Army knocker on the same door, panicked that it would bend as well as the door I was trying to unlock. In the end, it did not. There was no deterioration. The moment was happy for me. It's a little multi-tasker that offers many different benefits Tool is unique in that it has the main knife lockable, in fact a little lever locks it in place, then releases it when you want to load it back into the case. That's great. too. It helped me cut open Paver Base rock bags without difficulty. It's like melted butter too, like a sweet melted Thanks for making this product! I'm very happy with it.
