The rwb version is what I have. It has a nice, sturdy clip for attaching to a belt, and it's a fantastic knife!
It's not difficult, but it will try to spring back on you a little as you close it.

br>br>I bought the "We The People" edition. The knife is hefty and appears to be in good condition for the price, but the thumb assist, or rather its internals, are sluggish. I haven't played around with it much, so maybe I need to lube it up, or maybe I just need to work it more, but the assist doesn't fully open the blade, or does so slowly that you wonder if it's locked open. The assist also requires more pressure than you might think, which is probably why the thumb notch is so big. br>br>The engraving and colors are as nice as they appear, but I haven't used it yet to see how well they hold up over time; however, I purchased this as a knife that I wouldn't mind losing, based on the price and size, and it was simply convenient that I could be patriotic in the process.
This knife has the appearance of a $40 knife and cuts like one as well. It felt like cutting with a razor when I used it on a large butchering project. The creators have cracked the code to steel's mystery. The blade does not sway in any way. With the help of the spring system, the thumb screw and flip lever work perfectly. When you first open the box, the anodizing on the handle is stunning, and the knife shines brightly. On one side of the handle, they also grove the metal to improve your grip. This would make an excellent Christmas present for any hunter or knife enthusiast in your family.
My husband loves this knife, and I wanted to buy it for myself, but my hands were too small to open it like he could. It's absolutely stunning and patriotic!.
I bought three of these knives with the intention of gifting two of them, but only one of them opens all the way by itself. The other two only open halfway, requiring you to manually open the blade the rest of the way. Not suitable for giving as a present or for any other use. Very let down.
The color and design of the knife appeal to me, and when I shop for items, I prioritize design and quality. The only thing that disappointed me was that, despite not using the knife on a regular basis, when I took it out of my drawer after a month, the blade had developed a dark tarnish, similar to that which occurs when silver tarnishes. What irritated me was that the tarnish on the blade would not come off when I tried to wipe it off.
I suppose you can't expect much more from such a low-cost knife.
This knife is an excellent value for the money, and it fits nicely in my back pocket next to my wallet. I have a number of pocket knives, but this is the only one I want to carry with me on a daily basis. br>br>The knife is very nice; it opens easily with one hand, holds an edge well, and is razor sharp. br>br>The knife is a little larger than a typical pocket knife, but not excessively so.
