Questions & Answers

How is it possible with Magic assisted technology?

My impression is that the assisted open is very strong and fast enough to be a good spring, but I'm not sure.

When it comes out of the box, is it sharp?

You have to be careful when opening the box since the blade is very sharp.

A belt clip does not appeal to me. The screws seem to be securely seated, but I'm wondering if I take it off they will still be there. Does anyone have any experience with ?

It is not difficult to take off the clip and reinstall the screws. As they do not put pressure on the blade, they do not have an impact on its ability to open and close. As you can see when the knife is open, those 3 screws have nothing to do with how tight the enclosure is.

How legal is it in California?

California laws prohibit the possession of this knife. It is illegal in California to use spring assisted knives with a blade over 2 inches.

This is an awesome knife
5/5

Assisting with open windows is the coolest thing ever. My father used to sell knives to wholesalers, so I have had a lot of knives over the years. This one is my favorite. It is a good size, it is made by S&C, it is lightweight, and it is made from leather This means you can trust its quality, not just an average one. Due to my disability, I like an open assist, so when I need it I can pull it out, and I do not require an extra hand. This is exactly what I need. My go-to carry knife is this one, and it looks so classy. When I change out my carry knives occasionally, this is always the one I pack. While it began with a stone on top, and I later switched to a diamond plate, I ended up using a smaller The pro method on this blade doesn't work as well as this method. Once you've swiped it a couple of times, it feels like a razor. In this case, I try to grind the edge of the stone for about 30 minutes and I'm still unable to get the edge I want. I know it is not sharp enough when I cant castrate a gnat when I have dust in my eyes, and this sharpener always works like that I would post a picture, but it is in my car and I am blazing right now. It's not like my @$$ is going anywhere.

The labor cost of cheap Chinese labor decimated yet another awesome thing

Serrated) for more than five I love this design so much! It's awesome. Despite the fact that its tip broke on me months ago when I was prying at something, I would still carry that knife were it not for the fact the tip broke. Instead, I bought a new one and while I still love the design, the quality has changed. The theme of this article repeats itself In addition to 11 clothing going downhill, the manufacturing layer of a brand seems to have gone down as well, as if companies release an initial version of their brand with high standards and then swap out the manufacturing layer with Sandpaper was used in my case to sand down the surface Rather than like grip, we used an adhesive that does not stick. My clip caught on my pocket when it was applied with the edges of the adhesive protruding above the recess where it sat, so it had to be filed down. I noticed the clip had balled up under the adhesive after a few days. On my old knife, you can see from the photos that it has been used a lot, but the adhesive on the corners and edges is still in place. That is what quality is all about. You can see on the knife where the adhesive protrudes from its recess where I've indicated. Five stars are well deserved for the design and performance of the knife. A star is given to this new knife for its construction. This is why it gets three stars out of five and I strongly discourage you from purchasing In fairness, I'm almost certain that S&P is on the same page as Wells Fargo The company 'W' merely licensed its name for the packaging of this knife, but the company 'W' is not related to the company that provides its instructions and warranty.

I apologize for the large image sizes of two of these photos, but they are necessary in order to demonstrate the adhesive parts that are protruding.

There is nothing I like more than this knife! For several years, I carried a similarly shaped knife, except with a partially serrated blade, daily, and it is a fantastic knife
5/5

I decided to try the plain blade model this time for the following reasons Serrations were not always necessary to me, and 2. there weren't many occasions where I actually NEEDED them. It's a hassle to sharpen the serrations. The pros are as follows Please note I love it right out of the box - I love it! Quite a high quality steel, holds an edge pretty well and can be easily sharpened. The opening lever only needs to be flicked a few times to open. It's great to have the 'magic assist'! It's not so expensive to lose something or have it confiscated by the TSA that will make you cry. This is looking good. The pocket clip is very stiff and secure A very 'grippy' feeling in your hand! On the side facing the pocket clip, the texture is rubbery and aggressive, while the other side looks like black 80 grit sandpaper! It's an interesting way to phrase it (I like it) Although it isn't the most expensive knife on the market, the fit and finish of its parts are excellent. It is possible to tighten the blade pivot screw as the knife wears over time, and the tiny Torx screwdriver can usually be found around the house. My pocket knife has not deployed while in my pocket, even though I carry it with the safety off all the time. While many states in the US consider this knife to be completely legal even though it operates like a switchblade with a swift open and secure lock. The blade of the knife has little opening lugs so that it looks (as well as functions) like a regular folder so that it does not attract undue There are cons Please note As time passes, the paint finish on the blade and other parts scratches and chips. This didn't bother me much, but given the price point it isn't too much of a dealbreaker. A sharpening system will require you to readjust the blade grind angle first time you sharpen it if the blade comes out of the box not symmetrical. (I use a Gatco set and a 19-degree angle of sharpening. ) I don't know why Taylor uses asymmetrical grinding, and those using freehand stones are unlikely to notice this. There's a break when you first get it Over a period of 50 years The door opens 100 times before it quickly opens. There is no big deal about it, and This knife is very nice and was great fun to use. I kept an extra in case I lost my daily carry knife. I've read some reviews that complained about the extreme texture on the grip panels, to the point where the pocket edges were damaged. I did not have that experience. Although I wear mostly jeans, I have not had a problem with it at all. It would be just as easy to remove the pocket clip and smooth down the texture a little if it were a problem. This knife is also available in a larger version with serrations, which I keep in my car as a rescue tool. This brand of 3 1/2" SWATMB or SWATMBS (partly serrated) knives is one that I have purchased.
