The same knife was given to me as a Christmas present, and it clearly states "USA." There is no mention of China anywhere.
Close the liner lock after pushing it to the side to release the blade.
Yes, it's spring-loaded, and the quality is decent for the price; I've had mine for a while and it's still going strong.

If it were made in the United States, I would give it five stars. It's a great knife; it looks super clean and is extremely strong; however, every time I open it and see "china" etched into the blade, I feel like it's stabbing me in the heart.
Aluminum is used to make the handle. All of the designs have been etched or carved into the surface. The blade has a nice, thick feel to it. Even with daily use, it maintains its sharpness for a long time. This is my everyday carry knife, and I've only sharpened it twice in the last two years. I use it every day to cut plastic off of pallets and open boxes. Not to mention the rest of the house's contents. The finish is still as beautiful as it was when I first received it. The screws can be held in place with a dab of blue loctite. This is a problem with all assisted-opening knives, including the most expensive. Simply unscrew them and coat them in blue loctite, and they'll never come loose again. In my collection, this is my favorite knife. For the price, it's hard to beat, and I highly recommend it.
I was lucky to get it at such a low price, but I was also skeptical about getting it at that price; was I lucky, or was I mistaken? This knife is attractive on the outside and comfortable to hold and use on the inside. It fits perfectly in the hand and is both light and strong. The design is so beautiful that you'll want to stare at it for a long time before using it. The fact that it's an American patriotic knife with old glory and our eagle imprinted on the steel, but it has a tiny print on the bottom of the sharp end that says, China, is the only drawback. Nothing against China, but the fact that such a patriotic-looking knife has that print on it seems odd. It's all about the irony. That's about it. It's a stunning piece of steel with a stunning design.
This is an excellent knife! Guys, I was a little hesitant to purchase this knife at first, but I am so glad I did. To begin with, the "one" image available on Amazon does not do it justice. I was astounded by the detail of the engraving and the sharpness of the blade, which is much larger than it appears in the online photo. In my opinion, the weight is ideal, and the opening is quick and fluid. The blade length is incredible, and the stone wash is stunning. For $9, I expected a small, cheap, and ineffective piece of garbage. But. I was completely mistaken. It should be purchased as soon as possible.
Overall, I am very pleased with how well these knives perform for the money. They're not the most refined or sharp right out of the box. However, for the price, they outperform the majority of the models in the range that I've handled. Over at EDC, we purchased four of these to give as collectible gifts. Two of the four actions are particularly nice and smooth. 2 didn't open as smoothly as the first, and it took some oiling and tweaking to make it work. The artwork on the blade is etched rather than printed like on other knives I've seen, which gives it a very nice finish. The aluminum handle scales are beautifully machined, feel great in the hand, and look fantastic. My only quibble is that it's a Chinese-made patriotic knife. But what do you expect for this price?.
My honest opinion is that I adore this knife; however, I had some concerns about the price, which I believe to be reasonable. This knife has been in my possession for nearly a year. I've used it for a variety of tasks, including deer cutting, bait cutting, weed trimmer line cutting, fish cleaning, and opening aluminum cans. You name it, and it's there. And I've never sharpened it! Although it is no longer razor sharp, it can still quickly cut my seatbelt if necessary. It's also still in good shape! The blade hasn't wiggled or been played with, and the clip is still attached, despite the fact that most knives I've owned have lost their clips within the first few months. The design is fantastic and does not interfere with grip; in fact, the grip is excellent. The seller's photos aren't as clear as they ought to be. For the price, the finnish is quite good; I'd recommend it as a gift or even buy it for yourself!.
It's a well-made knife with a unique design, but I have a few issues with it. 1) It arrived with the dullness of a butter knife, which I did not appreciate. 2) Despite the fact that it is spring-assisted, the spring isn't as strong as others I've used, and it won't open unless you put in a lot of effort. 3) As you can see from the photos, the laser engraver was not properly centered on the handle. It's not a big deal, but it's there, and I can't get rid of it. 4) It's made in China, as expected. The fact that it is so slim is, however, particularly appealing. It's about two-thirds the thickness of most others, making it easier to carry.
This knife has a really cool machined design of the American flag on the handle, and it's absolutely stunning. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the "We the People" on the blade isn't a deep etching, but rather a thin, but stark, black paint coating of some sort; it just doesn't seem like it would hold up to too much wear, but this might be one you'd like to add to your collection because it looks nice and is definitely giftable!.
