There are a few knives I would consider mid-grade that I have used. My favorite part of collecting them is finding new ones. Here we are. My books are not stacked on a shelf. The package was sealed in the original packaging, and a cloth bag was included for storage. My intent is to use this knife on a boat in a humid environment, so I like that it has a molded handle with a positive grip. There is no tolerance for movement whatsoever in the lock, which is firm and snaps into place with no movement at all. Opening is a smooth and one-step process The hands were easy to hold. The moment I opened up the package and saw the blade, I fell in love with it. It's a great design, one of the sharpest I've ever had from the I am giving it two stars because I can't disengage the axis lock every time I open it with my wrist but if I open it slowly, I don't have that problem. Also, the pocket clip is really tight and hard to get on and off Having to deal with these issues after paying $120 for the software is frustrating. A new update! I declined NetRush's offer of an exchange since I didn't want to have to send this and wait for another one to arrive only to have the same issues again. They nevertheless gave me a partial refund and their customer service was incredible.

Having the blade in my pocket is enough to dull the blade even if the light is never used. When I sharpen it, it gets to a nice edge, but if I let it go for a day (and do not use it), the following day it's already dull to the point I can run my fingers over it without cutting myself. As I have it in my pocket, just honk at the blade edge, and it will grind into the frame. Due to an error on my part, I missed the return deadline by one day and now I'm really bummed out I spent so much money on a blade that requires more sharpening than any other blade I've used.
