Look for a small metal notch at the base of the blade (within the housing) when the knife is fully deployed (locked) open. Push the notch away from you with your left blade and right housing. The blade is also held in place by this notch.

It's so lovely! This knife is a steal for the price; it's sturdy, sharp, and opens quickly. br>My only criticism is this: br>The security system is broken. I'd heard other sellers complain about it, so I was prepared. br>However, the blade does not close easily, even though the safety appears to be faulty. I'm not a knife expert, but it appears to have some spring action that prevents it from closing on your hand without a bit of force. br>I'm not too concerned about it because I bought it with the intention of intimidating people rather than actually using it on anyone. I believe it would serve its purpose if I were forced to use it in self-defense. If I have to use it, that is. In any case, I'd be in a life-or-death situation, right? br>I'll try to figure it out and see if the safety eventually clicks in, but it's not a big deal if it doesn't. You get what you pay for, and this knife has some unique features that make it worthwhile to purchase. I'm happy with my purchase because it's attractive and appears to be dangerous.
off, I can't seem to find an official website or page for the "ALBATROSS" company, but it's a nice knife in my hands, and I've had it for about a month and a half. However, based on a few YouTube videos, it appears to be a TAC-style replica. This is a very popular FORCE knife. I'm afraid I won't be able to recommend it.
I cut myself within the first 30 minutes of owning the knife because the notch that pops the blade out is extremely sensitive, so be cautious. I had to go to the ER because this knife is extremely sharp; it cut me so quickly that there was no blood on the blade. Please be cautious. Also, be aware of the notch's degree of sensitivity. However, the knife as a whole is excellent.
Deepen the folds in the handle. The handle's small circular cutouts are superfluous. The finger hole at the end of the handle should be parallel to the rest of the handle, and the clip should be adjustable to each side of the handle. The knife's silhouette is similar to that of a seahorse.
Opening is smooth and sharp right out of the box, thanks to spring assistance. The color is lovely and lasts a long time, but be careful not to leave fingerprints. It spins nicely and has a nice weight to it. For quick drawing, it's best to wear the pocket clip with the knife outside of the pocket. As a result, I believe this product to be defective. br>br>Updated version: So I dismantled this knife enough to grind down the blade's support arm. It won't come down while you're using it. Now it's working perfectly. As a result, I regularly employ it. In addition, the blade is very nice and sharp. This product sharpens nicely.

Sprung out and cut me (yes, I was holding it safely) because the spring is super stiff and came out late, catching me off guard, and it will not close back no matter what I try.
