Questions & Answers

Does the alignment and lap of these rings need to be done?

A set of these just arrived in the mail. Despite this, I had to lap each ring again since each came down to two small contact points. the rings appear to be quality, always lap a test piece to verify! In these rings, you need to be careful not to remove too much material, since when they are tightened there isn't a lot of room at the anchor points. Congratulations to Vortex for including the torque specs on the rings and the monster screws. For first-timers, they are perfect! As an expert mechanic over 40 years, I know the specs, but for beginners they are perfect! There's no way you're going to strip or slip these screws and mar them, I love them.

Ruger m77 hawkeye 300 min mag with vortex viper hs lr 30mm rifle scope. I need to purchase the vortex scope rings for the rifle scope. ?

If the front of your scope is large enough, that could affect your resolution. Use low rings if your diameter is 40mm or smaller, and high rings if your diameter is above 46mm.

As for my rifle, I have a savage 110 tactical 308 with a 20moa picatinny rail, and my scope is a 3-8x56. Would it be possible to get it with 30mm low at 14*44?

It was a 6 for me My 110 tactical 308 has 24*50 and I asked Vortex what ring I should choose for my seat up, and they advised me to go with

I will be mounting a Vortex crossfire ll 4x16x50 Ao on a Browning Ab3. What is the ring height required for this mount?

For mounting a 50mm scope, a compatibility chart on Vortex's website will tell you which height to use, but if you are mounting a high or extra high scope, you will likely need the high or extra high height

For your information. To ensure a perfect fit on a RPR rimfire using a 40mm objective, order the medium rings.

There's no better ring than a Vortex Ring! In conjunction with a Vortex Strikefire 3-ring set, I used these rings The Ruger American Predator rifle is equipped with an 18x44mm scope
5/5

This 350 Legend comes with a Picatinny rail installed in the factory. A pair of rings is about 0 mm wide. With a height of 90" and a weight of at least 0, I had to work hard. A 11 ratio of 25" to zero The barrel of my scope sits approximately 375" from the bell of my scope. If it is possible, I'd like to see these mounts offered in a lower version. While fit and finish were excellent, the quality of the materials was off the charts. I used the tools, etc. my buddy has on hand for gunsmith level scope installation and after the rings were perfectly aligned and zero lapped, the scope was ready to shoot. Just a word of warning if you are planning to lap your rings, note that you have near zero room to maneuver. It is virtually impossible to see a gap between the top and bottom of the ring after using my 30mm tube and torqued properly. In the case of too much material removed, you won't be able to get it tight enough to support If that is considered an improvement, that would be the only change I would like Vortex to make.

It is the tallest of them all
5/5

I realize that I can't be the only one who finds it confusing that there are no standards regarding My Rings needed to be extra tall and I experimented with two other rings that fit this description before I discovered The tallest I found were 2 ft. 6 in. It's safe to say that they did a good I had the challenge of mounting a very large and heavy scope to a Ruger Precision rifle. With the 'other' extra tall rings, I was not able to adjust the overall height of the optics to meet my preference and easily rotate the focus/mag rings on the scope. These rings are the best choice if you have an RPR with a large scope.

Fits Remington 700 but not the I have updated My decision to keep the rings over sending them back led to me keeping them
3/5

With a chainsaw file, I was able to remove just enough from the bottom tang to make it fit perfectly. A solid feeling and a great look go hand in hand with the rings. The reason I am going with a 3-star rating is that I believe it should not be necessary to file down the rings I have had no problems using other brands of rings on the same gun. very excited about these rings until I realized they have an undercut that is just a little bit too wide for my 700 factory bases. The gun can be mounted with Nikon, Leupold, and Weaver sighting systems in the past. If you own a Remington, don't even As for the number on the picture, I just thought it was for showing how the screws needed to be tightened. The rings are physically imprinted with these designs. If the rigs are mounted on the racks, I don't need to know the torque specs forever. Despite this, I continue to give them 3 stars because the feel like they are built well. The only thing you need to be sure of is that they won't fit standard bases and will have lettering.

Item of high We are proud to say that it is made in the USA! Generally speaking, anything that is made in the USA is likely to be of higher quality and fit as opposed to a part manufactured in China
5/5

Additionally, these rings are made in the USA. Installation on the flat top of the Bushnell 4 and 308). Despite the 18x40mm objective's tight fit to the barrel, the scope objective fits perfectly with about a 1/2 inch When I purchased the medium height 1" rings, the height was listed as It would have been fine with me if I had received The height of the person is 25". I dislike seeing more than an inch of space between the base of the scope and the barrel of the rifle. Besides the installation wrench and two extra screws, the package also contains an installation wrench and an extra screw in case you misplace All in all, I would definitely buy this ring again, I am very happy with it!.

Vortex optics are best with this product
5/5

In my Crossfire 2-6 I mounted a mounting bracket This is 16x smaller than It consists of a Viper 4-" and a 50MM This is 16x smaller than With these mounts, the lens diameter is 40mm. In both cases, both put the optic on straight enough to hit paper at 100 yards and 200 yards on the first shot. It is easy to install, but I recommend that you invest ten dollars in a torque screwdriver to make certain they are properly installed. I had a buddy who put them on without a torque screwdriver last season, and his optic is still intact and holding Besides its cosmetic appeal, one of the biggest advantages of this optic is that you are not required to do anything special before mounting it. It only requires unscrewing a few things, then laying the scope on the rail, checking that your eye relief is in place, and then screwing everything down, making sure.

You just can't go wrong
5/5

To mount the Vortex 5 I used these screws On the Remington 700 300 Win Mag, a 24mm optical system was mounted. The fifth rule. have mounted a Wheeler scope using a mounting kit and have fired over 200 rounds through them. The hot loads are over 200 grains, and they are not moving. The dead nut has been solidly held in place. The book is highly.
