Using LCP II with this laser, there is no better way to kill cancer! Ruger and Vidian teamed up to create a successful product
5/5

Using this laser, they accomplished an amazing feat. The frame seems to fit so well it looks like it should be part of the LCP II. Especially if you include the most powerful red laser allowed by law, this accessory becomes very functional and aesthetically pleasing. I just wanted to point out one thing It has been a while since I had a laser treatment. In the case of a small gun like the LCP II, which has decent sights, I would recommend putting a sight-up/sight-down magnification into Adjust the laser in the "high" technique at no less/no more than 20 to 25 feet with the laser at the "high" position. Adjust the laser so that the dot is a little higher than the front sight once For this pistol, I prefer a distance of about 20 feet. In that way, the laser will remain visible even at close range, but will not be visible too highly at distances of 50 feet or more. Keeping your sights open when drawing to your sights and acquiring the laser sight as quickly as possible, while keeping accuracy acceptable on long shots, as commonly taught, is the way to acquire the laser sight.

A poor design that fails to work because of ineffective modifications
3/5

The maker took the cheap way out for a design flaw. Instead of correcting the fault, they included a note in red saying that the red washer should be placed under the It is obvious that the battery spring is defective and shimmed up with the washer will fix it, but the washer is too small and slips into the battery spring and makes it the useless item. It took me 3 teardowns in about 45 minutes before I found a solution - I removed a small piece of rubber that was a bit bigger than the washer and placed it under the spring. do not think it's fair for a manufacturer to leave something like this go then give you a 10th of a cent washer to fix a problem that wasn't resolved. The reason why I gave them one star is that there are no zero stars. I do not recommend doing so.

A Hellcat from the Springfield Armory
3/5

As for the fit and integration with the design of the weapon, it is pretty good. While the housing is cheap and flimsy, it still feels like it. There are so many flimsy parts that if you press the on/off button in one direction, the laser will move in the other direction. In order to dial this laser in, I used a laser bore sight. As I previously stated, I found the sight to be easy to adjust and that it hit the bore site well. However, once you turn the sight on and off, the laser moves and the sight stops working correctly. While I have not shot the weapon yet while wearing it, I am not confident that it will stay at zero. I found it to be very simple to install, A price point of $50 would be more appropriate for this since I do not believe the $99 and even less the MSRP of $132 are worth the price point. It would have been much easier to just save the $99 to go towards the RMSc Shield red dot as I already have the Hellcat OSP version.

It is well built and looks good
3/5

A laser like this fits the LCP II very well and makes the firearm look as if it was made for it. It is evident that height and windage adjustments have a distinct "ratchet" feel when they are adjusted, which provides a sense of confidence about the adjustments' ability to hold their places. Unlike the LCP II, the laser is bright enough to be useful in any lighting condition, especially in the range that it would be effective. This removes all doubt about acquiring a proper sight picture in low light conditions. Although the laser is installed in the LCP II, it can still be carried in the Ruger provided pocket holster. I have only one complaint, which is that I couldn't figure out which end of the battery will be upwards. The laser did not have a * to show which way the battery is oriented, so I only read in the instructions that it should not be put If you are unsure whether you have installed the switch correctly, you can push it before snapping on the cover. The product has not been shot yet however, if it does not behave as it should, I will I have updated the following information There is a quality issue with this product. When I installed it, I rated it 5 stars All of that changed once I actually started using Approximately six months after installing the laser, I finally shot the LCP II and it only worked after one shot. This may not be the norm as far as quality goes, but I finally shot the LCP II about six months after installing the laser. It went out shortly thereafter. In a few minutes, it would come back on, last one shot, and then it would be gone Veridian's red laser is generally temperamental and you should definitely make the first shot count, if that is the case.

Laser sight for the Vividiian Essential Red
5/5

I was very happy to find a very high quality baseball cap in my package, featuring the Viridian logo, as an added bonus. This laser is extremely well suited for the LCP II and is very rigid. It can sit there without any play in order to change the site. There are 2 allen wrenches included with the unit with one used for installing the unit and one for adjusting windage and leveling. A single laser can also be powered by 3 batteries that are connected to create a single source of power. Left- and right-handed users will be able turn on or off the laser from the power switch on either side of the unit. However, I think that overusing them might become an issue if too many users use the buttons at once. Due to the plastic nature of the unit, installation could also pose a problem if many many screws are removed and replaced. When plastics and screws are used on devices that have heavy usage of screws, the issue is apparent. Just tighten it up a bit and it should last for a long time. This unit is also nice because it lets you control when it gets turned on versus some holster that turns it on when removed, which is a bad idea for a defense position. Considering that it is the most affordable device on the market and has a high intensity red laser beam, I like it a lot.

Having problems with the power button
3/5

It was really fun to shoot with this at the range. I have taken it to the range a few times for sighting in. I was unable to get the laser to work after carrying it inside my waist pouch for a few months. There was a chance the battery had been depleted and the screen had gone on by accident. As soon as I removed the battery cover to replace it, it began to power up. Since it is on now, it won't power off again. My solution ended up being to remove the whole assembly, which sits in a drawer labeled "tinker with it later. ". Fortunately, it did not work or worked as well on my Taurus G2c, which is a shame.

Zero will not be held
3/5

I got this gun for my wife for Christmas and just got around to mounting it on her Ruger LCP Gen II rifle. It was mounted nicely and snugly on the gun, and appeared to be well-made. I took it out to zero the laser in, and it was clear the laser moved after each shot was fired. My laser was again placed on the iron sights, and 5 shots were fired in a row. Five shots of the gun put the laser more than a foot away from the target. In the absence of zero, what is the use of a laser? Viridian is the company I will be reaching out to since I can't recommend it.
